    That is correct! Unfortunately, what you're not getting is that BSR's are set up as a "minimum" standard. Not everyone is the same – that’s absolutely true. I’ve been in this sport since before you were born, but, there are 20 year olds who can fly circles around me. Just because you have 200 jumps, doesn’t mean you’re ready for a camera!!! At 200 jumps you’re ready to start working with an experienced camera flyer

    We might ask the camera flyers doing large formations about this?? They pull in place and watch the rest. I'm betting they have some valuable info.     Sangi... Clearly, you're missing the point. We're not slamming the OP or his abilities here. Skydiving is an extreme sport that is learned thru a progression of varied skill sets. Skipping a step in the progression has killed too many of our friends. It almost killed me once! I got lucky. Take a chill pill, make some jumps under the supervision of a couple "fossils" and, eventually, you'll understand this. Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."

    Wow! I didn't see that comming??? To the OP... helmet mount, leg mount, chest mount or stick it up your "who who".... Cameras are a distraction! They cause you to do things like forget to properly stow your leg straps. (3:50 from your video). But then again, it didn't really cause any problems now did it? ...this time Be careful!     Can't answer that. ....but, is that a 5 cell on top?? Cool! We made that mistake a few times back in the 70's.

    I’m purposely posting this here because I’d like to discuss the news story and the way it was handled by all involved. If someone with better information than me would like to post this in the Incidents Forum, please do. This happened Memorial Day and nobody was hurt. I’m very surprised how Chanel 4 News delivered this story. They gave it a positive spin (at least I thought so). Tree landings happen. This News Crew could have presented this info in a much harsher light. Call me “pleasantly surprised”. Skydiving is an extreme sport! They recognized that fact and told the story from that perspective. Thank you for that!!!

    --I'd have to agree with this advice. Hold him/her accountable or they'll sell it to another jumper only to screw them as well. --Being a self proclaimed devils advocate, what's the other side of this story?? We've herd your side, what would the seller say if he were here? Remember, there's always two sides to a story. Did he advertise "No refunds"? Did he state any restocking fee? ect.......     Some, myself included, need to learn the hard way. Some will not survive the process. This is an unfortunate and inevitable problem with most extreme sports. I rarely worry about getting hurt or killed. I often worry about friends getting hurt or killed. I think this may be the case for many in this sport. There’s this feeling of invulnerability we (extreme athletes) have which allows us to do what we do. I believe it’s a flaw in our nature. It’s not a bad thing, just a flaw we must possess.
