Of course they care. All of them, every one, are skydivers. I'll bet most of their friends are skydivers. They hang at DZs and deal with skydivers all the time. Just because you don't know many of them yourself doesn't mean they are just nameless faceless bureaucrats. Maybe you think they do the work for money, power, and glory? You should get involved with USPA. I'll bet if you did you would have a firm grasp on what the budget is and why they want an increase. But since you don't know you'll just have to content yourself with whining and bitching about how unfair it is. I'll bet you didn't even vote last time around. How much money do you want them to spend on communicating with you? Read the minutes of the meetings and you will know. Or drop your membership. Or whatever. I'm with you somewhat on this Ron. Obama sent all the signs that he was a true believer in Christ Christian. But his policies went against the most of the Christian right wing. Trump shows all the signs of a non-believer, but his politics are simpatico with the right. It actually makes perfect sense to choose the politician that represents your political beliefs over one that merely shares your religious ones. God will sort out the important stuff. Politics are the affair of man, not God. Not all Christians are conservative like you and yours. You should give progressive Christians a little more credit. Satan did not make them liberals. I know. Education will do that. It encourages critical thinking and critical thinking encourages liberalism. It's a viscous cycle. If you get the chance visit the Dali Museum in St Petersburg FL. He was an amazing artist able to adequately and accurately portray the hidden meanings in life. Generally, they were the spiritual meanings that reveal the essence of awe, joy, and peace. I have been a fan of his since the '50s. Exactly, well sort of. I can hear the clock ticking now. Counting down the time till the real fight begins. Trump will not go quietly into the night. Mueller will release his report, the indictments will start, and Trump will do what Trump does. Fight back as nasty as he can. He will not hesitate in the least to drag anyone, or even the whole country down to his level. And about a third of your country will follow him there. The current shit show will look like the good old days. But eventually it will be over, he will be gone, and America can work at becoming Great Again.
