Funny, but with no flag I forget your nationality. I thought English because of the use of "trolley" instead of cart, but the indigenous people there are fully assimilated. Except maybe the Cockneys. Now I guess you are either from Oz or are a Kiwi. Two places with relations with the indigenous peoples about as bad as in Canada.

I just received another PM from my fellow Canuck. This one says " what a super jerk you are ". I think he is upset because I posted that there was a fatality in Canada today. I'm going to name him if he does not stop harassing me. Edit to add, I just figured out that I can block his PMs. So he won't be able to message me any more. Or if he does, I won't get them.

If you are going to compare his rallies to WWF events you have to say entertained rather than manipulated or fooled. And I do believe his strongest attraction is his ability to entertain. The same reason some people enjoyed his reality TV show.

There were a LOT of Americans who felt Trump was a better option than Clinton. Not a majority, but a lot. It is common for people to dislike politicians as a group, and she was among the most disliked. Personally I feel this is both unfair and unwise. Politicians put themselves forward for different combinations of reasons. Some noble and some not. Clinton was mostly, but not completely noble. Trump's are and were almost completely ignoble, but as a wise American once said, "you can fool some of the people all of the time". Trump is a master at fooling people.

Once when my son was about 10 years he old told young boy next door to go back where he came from. When I heard about it I straightened him out. His mother was an immigrant after all. Not from Pakistan like the neighour, but from Scotland. I made him go over and apologize and I made sure that the family knew he did not learn that sort of thing at home. I did find out that there was another kid across the street who he had learned it from. After I schooled him I never heard anything like that again. I'm pretty sure Trump's father did not raise his children the same way that I raised mine.

The POTUS is the elected leader of your nation. Do you not understand what it means to be a leader? Policy is for wonks, leaders are judged by their words. Encouraging discord is a Trump policy. He is very good at it.

Once again the Dotard is reaching out to touch the haters. There is no shortage of Americans (or Canadians) who want people to go back to the shithole countries they came from. But only Trump is in a position of such power. The deplorables are rallying around him.

Trump is claiming that these women “hate America”. Of course this is another one of his idiotic untruths. What they do hate is Trump and what Trumpism stands for. They are indeed going to go to the place they came from. Which is American districts that elected them. And they will do just what he asked. They will work to fix America by helping to defeat him in the next election. God bless America

The text of the post clashes with title of the thread, but I suppose you know that. Funny thing about pro sports. It's really show business. The money available to pay the players is directly limited by the number of tickets, the price they sell for, and the price of the TV ads. It has nothing to do with the gender of the performers. Or even their skill.

I would just like to say that this Canadian is not one of the regular posters here. I don't know him and his name is not familiar to me. This came completely out of the blue. ( I do not want anyone to wonder if it could be so and so.)

I got a nasty PM yesterday from a fellow Canadian. Apparently he does not approve of my posting style here and thinks I am "A poor ambassador for Canada". He told me I had no right to have a Canadian flag beside my name and demanded that I remove it immediately. My answer to him was not polite in the least. However, it occurs to me that most people don't have flags. Probably because they don't know how to set them. So here goes. It is not in your profile settings like it used to be. You need to go into Settings / Account Settings / then in the left panel select country, then you can select your country from the drop down list, and finally save the setting. C'mon people, lets get some flags flying.....

Lord it's hard to be humble when you're perfect in every way. Actually the more time I spend in America interacting with Americans the more they seem just like Canadians. Except for the accents of course. I hope that doesn't say bad things about Canadians.
