    Pennridge is a real DZ, and the winds were high last Sunday. CK had tandems going up and 500 jump limit for pretty much the entire day. It's very common to be grounded due to weather. If you don't want to eat the $75 cancellation fee, I would at least call Penridge and find out if they will honor your Skyride certificate. There is a chance they may not. You should also try to contact your credit card company to see if you can cancel purchase due to shaddy practices of Skyride. Hate to support Skyride, but I know people that jump at Pennridge and its a fine DZ, as is CK. PS. I don't think it should be an issue yet, but if the weather stays crappy for a couple more weeks, the DZ may close for season. CK is open year round. Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

    My goals are/were: 1) Not die or get injured - Check and plan to keep it that way. 2) Finish AFF and get my A lic. - Not only finished AFP but also got my B 3) Have enough jumps to get to A -- Updated to trying to complete 100 jumps b/f the end of the year.     Keg beer is tasty, don't let anybody tell you otherwise. You also tend to drink more out of a keg than bottles ... less carbonation P.S.     For some reason, the past couple of days my comp. has been running slow and having things like outlook and IE freezing. I've ran McAfee a Spybot and Adaware, nothing really found I have to pay some bills , but I'm afraid it may have spyware that may collect my info Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

    Never rely on backups (except for the reserve ), that is what I've been taught about skydiving, i.e. don't wait for your instructor to pull for you in AFF, don't wait for the cypress or the rsl to pull, etc., so why would you wait for help if you are injured? Cell phones are so tiny that they can easy fit in any pocket without hassle. I just don't see why people choose to leave them in their lockers and cars when they can be your quickest lifeline.     At my DZ, if someone is landing out, manifest calls for a head count even before everybody touches the ground and simultaneously ask for volunteers to go pick up person that landed out. If there is a reserve ride, they're on top of you like white on rice -- its very comforting Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

    I agree no camera for me under 200 jumps, but the question remains -- Connected skyhook or disconnected skyhook with camera? Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
