getting jump number up. how often do you jump?

If money is no object and if you are near a larger DZ, then 200-300 jumps should be completely doable in 18 months without having to live at the DZ. It sure would make it easier if you could make whole weekends (Fri night, Sat and Sun) of your DZ trips. The thing you should consider however, is that, if you just go to DZ, jump non-stop and leave just to do it again the next day. You may end up being a skydiver with a high jump number but not much experience. In my opinion, there is more to gaining skydiving experience than just getting to alti and exiting. Spending time at the DZ, talking to people, being exposed to different weather conditions, different fliers, different incidents() will make you an overall better/more experienced skydiver even if your numbers aren't as high. I would listen much more intently at a skydiver that had 500 jumps in 1 to 2 years, than on one that had 500 jumps in 6 months. Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches! -
I've decided that I'm going to start selling most of my shit on ebay. The problem is I've never sold anything so I obviously have no positive feedback. I'm looking for suggestion on how to best get rid of my crap. Should I just put everything out at once, or start out with small/cheap stuff and work my way up for the higher priced stuff? I'm getting a used rig that has B-12s and I will definitely change it because I fear that docks, holds on exit or in mid collision may cause it to open. I'm also afraid that while sitting on the AC it may come open and in an emergency exit I won't have time to double check it. Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

It seems reasonably priced. This past weekend at the DZ, they found a gear bag with a complete javelin, cypress, jumpsuit, helmet, altimeters, etc. all with less than 100 jumps. It had just been sitting there for about 9 years. It belonged to a regular jumper's mother that got into to very briefly, and quit. It was all in perfect condition, just old. If I was much, much, much smaller, I could have gotten the rig for about 1K Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches! -

I was talking to a couple of people in the DZ and they had just enough stuff to fill 1 or 2 car loads. That made me realize how much SHIT I have. At night my bedroom seems like a Xmas light display from all the electronic crap I own. It's to the point that I go to Bestbuy, and there really isn't anything left for me to buy -- except a camcorder that will eventually make its way to a new helmet. So I've decided I have to start selling shit, get rid of the baggage. I actually need some help/advice on using ebay, since I have never sold anything and hence have no approval ratings.
