  1. There's a dude that hangs outside of Yankee Stadium that has the same sign Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  2. Of course is a benefit for those left behind. I've witnessed a lot of people dying and dead. In my opinion, it's irrelevant how you actually die. Was it painful, was it slow, did you die quietly in your sleep? How does it matter to you? You are dead, just a piece of meat with no feeling, no pain, and no memories. What does matter are the people that loved you and have to deal with your demise. Those are the people that have to wake up every morning and miss you. They're the ones still alive and in pain. So if you tell me that "died doing something they loved" is just a tag to help comfort those left behind, I ask you, what is the problem with that? Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  3. Some clarification: 1)The jumps weren't miserable. The number of jumps were. 2)I do need to pack faster 3)For those with less then 4 jumps in Nov. -- IN YOUR FACE, BIITCHEEESSS Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  4. You jump out of a "perfectly good airplane"? There are some inherent dangers that go along with that, you may even die as a result. YOU choose to jump. YOU know the risk. Those that have gone in knew the risk just as well as you do. They chose to jump, I assume, because they loved it NOT because they wanted to die. I think speaks sadly in their memory when people compare it to committing suicide or dying of cancer, etc. If you are grieving over someone, I have empathy for you, but as AggieDave said, if somebody quit because I went in, I would be pissed. Like the cheesy T-shirt says, "I do it not to escape from life, but to keep life from escaping". That is what I would want remembered Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  5. Grips, I think that getting in that plane and jumping again, is part of many skydiver's healing process. A loss is always tragic but I'm sure that every single skydiver in that plane had his/her fellow down brother in mind. Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  6. People die. Not to put words in her mouth, but I don't think she meant in anyway that she wanted to die. I think that there are many more horrific ways to go. It's my personal belief that if it's your time to go, you will go. Better to go in quick and doing something you love, than to linger in pain and suffering with a debilitating disease or being a victim of some senseless crime or ... 7. I'm cute and sensitive, do I get at least one free jump Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  8. Only 4 jumps for the entire month of November At the DZ at least one weekend day (except Thanksgiving weekend) all month Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  9. 40 Degrees? That's like jumping in the summer If you're looking for warmer weather CrossKeys is not the place. But if you want to jump in the cold CK will have planes going up year round Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  10. Why was the FAA involved? Was she hurt? The instructor apparently has really bad judgement, because he was dating a student, on probation in one DZ but still working in another, and made bad gear choices. Why is this posted here? P.S. I hate opening new threads on Incidents Forum because it usually means a fatality. At least this isn't one of them. Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

  14. If you're naked any longer than absolutely necessary to dry yourself off, get in and out of shower, or get dressed, YOU ARE GAY. You are in a room full of other guys, some which may also be naked, with ZERO chance of any women seeing you and you're struttin' your stuff, YOU ARE GAY. P.S. Not there's anything wrong with that Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

  17. I had a prof. in college that used to say if he caught a cheater he would like to dispence public flogging, but since he couldn't he would fail you and do all that he could to get you expelled. Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  18. I suppose that at 500 or , I don't know, 752 jumps, its ok to be obnoxious and run around the DZ and starting controversy Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  19. Are you kidding? Those are the worst, much more difficult than regular tests. But still not as bad open book. I used to detest open book tests, because the book never helped you and the tests were a million times harder Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  20. Congratulations on your license - Beeerrrr Try using one of those exercise balls to help with your flexibility -- not form but flexibility Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

  22. How did you get 13 concussions? Motorcycle helmets are very heavy. I personally think, that most Skydiving helmets are already pretty ugly. If you want protection, then buy a Protec. For the cool factor and Protecs you have 2 options: 1)Buy a black one and put cool/funny stickers 2)Embrace the ugly - buy something so hideous that it becomes cool, e.g., glow in the dark lime green, or if you're a big guy get a pink one, or...
