Well, I just talked to Billy Bob a few minutes ago and he said he doesn't give a shit since he doesn't own one of them computer dings, donchya know. On a more serious side, I am so glad I got out of IT 8 years ago.... I'm glad for the training, knowledge and certifications from the experience, but being tied to a server or programming at 2:00 AM in a little cubie was so outside my personality. And, what the others have said it true... pick your time and your terms while you have the revenue stream. It may even be time to reinvent yourself and take the time to really pursue another passion. If that passion remains in IT (well, God bless you for that)... but another area, another level, another path? good luck. Wow, I thought since the Norwegian Government owned the majority of it's oil and banking industries they must be socialist. Government provided healthcare for all must not count either. Personally, I would never own a money sucking diesel again. My current fifth wheel puller vehicle is a 2003 Dodge 3500 Dually Gas While its only got 60k miles on it... I've been looking for a quad cab (the dually is a single cab and great for the lining up the ball on my horse trailer style hitch).
