Dan I would never think of challenging your position as someone who is FAR more knowledgable than myself about the mechanics of canopy flight ... I enjoy the educational information I find here, too, but if it is tainted with "my product is best" then it loses some of it's value. I apologize if I read you wrong, but that is the way many of your posts come across to me... btw, I always suggest your canopies when skydivers at my DZ talk about getting new canopies/downsizing... Ya -- some of the things said on that subject are what kept me away from this place for a while. We have nothing to gain by going there again. This kid in tampa used a plane that was accessible to hime as a weapon, so that proves that it does have something (not everything, but something) to do with access...

Well, an undiagnosed mental illness could certainly play a part in this ... certainly the kid had some issues -- but there are lots of fucked up kids out there, like the ones who killed their classmates in Denver, or the ones in my town who killed a 14 year old classmate (girls killing girls). Money doesn't mean shit. Love has lots to do with it, but in the long run, it's a roll of the dice. Ya never know who is gonna be the next one to blow their cork and do something horrendus... IMHO

That's NOT beer, and neither is Coors or whatever other massed produced pisswater they fill cans with. It's "malt liquor". And as far as someone saying India Pale Ale is the worst beer they have ever tasted, it just shows there is no accounting for taste. IPA is the only beer I make anymore. I wouldn't trade one bottle of it for a truckload of "Miller Lite". But I do agree that any "beer" a skydiver brings to the DZ for his/her friends to drink is worth gulpin' down, and anyone who acts ungrateful is an asshole.
