I fall slow, but Big John, who is a national level weightlifter, was going 166mph (according to pro-track) on a jump we did a while back -- I couldn't keep up in my steepest dive... my fall rate has improved since I got my fast RW suit from Tad's

Go to college for 2 years ... get an education!!! Then you'll have a chance to get a job that pays well. Keep working nights at the cinema to help pay your costs. It'll be well worth it.

I ran the story on my newscast Monday at lunch time... I guess the outcome illustrates how quickly a lie can spiral (skydiving lingo!) out of control... this story has affected lots of people. My children were crying after seeing it yesterday, and they were schocked to learn this morning that the kid had made the whole thing up... I'm sure the guilt the little David Barney is feeling will serve as punishment for making a wrong choice and telling a lie to cover up his poor judgement.

I wouldn't mind winning the lottery, but I don't really expect that will happen... I'd be satisfied if my wife and I can raise our two daughters to be confident adults who help make our community a better place to live.

Dove, I'm so glad to see that your spirits are good ... bustin' yourself up just before going to the Olympics has to suck REAL bad... but the strength of character you display serves as a reminder to the rest of us to keep a positve attitude when things don't look so good. Hang in there!!! Frank

Quite likely the most powerful hunting cat out there... where I live is cougar capital of the planet... we have them even finding their way downtown (city of over 300,000) ... best thing to do if you are confronted by a cougar is make yourself big as possible, and yell like crazy at the big cat... we've found cougar tracks/sleeping spot on our property... time to call the kids in when that happens...

Almost all of it! Let's see ... 55 jumps last year x $27/per jump... $40 for the last reserve repak (and another due now), $300 for the jumpsuit, about $140 for the helmet, around $250 for an audible, $100 for the good goggles, 3 days of debaunchery at a boogie -- no exact $ figure from that, but add in food a booze... ya, it all adds up - that's for sure!
