    if the object is not completely in the space, but the part of the object in the space occupies the entirety of the space. i.e. when you put a nail in your wall to hang a picture. the space created by the part of the nail in the wall is completely filled by the nail, but the actual space in the wall occupied is smaller than the nail itself.

    I'd love to know how many of those US engineering grads actually stay IN engineering. I for one have moved on to law school. I know a LOT of people that have done the same, or moved on to another non-engineering career.

    Learning a second language is hard -- im lucky i've spoken both english and spanish fluently as far back as i can remember. listening to people talk is key -- watching spanish TV and movies can help with things like pronounciation and also recognition. unless you spend years and years living somewhere where you HAVE to speak spanish, the thing that will likely always mark you as an American is your accent. You can learn the vocab and grammar perfectly, but getting rid of an accent is very very difficult.

    Yeah, I did... it mentioned example but no actual studies. That's why I asked if there was any sort of concrete study about it. Again, I'm just curious, not trying to state a pro-gun or anti-gun point of view.

    As someone living in Illinois, who doesn't know anyone that owns a gun, I am just curious if there are numbers available as far as estimated economic impact. Im not taking a side, I am just curious to know if this effect has been calculated or if it is just speculative. I don't know how large the gun market is, but my guess is that it's substantial -- i would just like to know exactly HOW substantial it is.

    Also, it's possible for an illegal immigrant to have a valid, real social security number -- someone who comes here legally for a period of time and just doesn't go back after their visa expires.

    My question is: if you were to radically increase minimum wage, wouldn't employers have to increase the price of their goods to make up for the increased wages? More to the point, wages would go up, but wouldn't cost of living as well? Im sure someone making more money than they were before would feel better about having more money, but that money wouldn't go as far. I haven't done any research so I am not sure of what the ratio of increases would be, im just curious.
