yeah...i was thinking more along the lines of how the curve works for that. 50 is the new 30 is fine, but 1,000,000 bein the new 500,000 doesnt work all that well if your body doesnt work well past 100 years old (speaking in current medical technology terms). given a long enough timeline, you'd have to stop aging altogether, not merely slow it down. granted, by then you'll be able to replace all your body parts anyway so i guess its not an issue.

it depends -- does this genetic engineering let me keep the physical condition i had when i was 20 years old forever or does my condition gradually get worse to where i spend the majority of eternity not being able to do things for myself because every part of my body not vital to keeping me alive has gotten worse as time goes on?

law finals start the 12th for me, but i have my senior seminar paper due the 4th -- which means no fun for me for the next month or so...

The best commentary on this is on Family Guy, where they have the fake dabeers commercial with the shadows where the guy gives the girl the diamond and you see the girl shadow start to go down on him and it says "Diamonds: She'll Pretty Much Have To" -

The release date is Sunday. Availability is as of yet unknown -- rumors have it that Nintendo will be able to make em fast so it won't be as hard as finding a PS3 -- but i wouldn't expect to just walk into best buy and get one the first few weeks. retails for 250 and comes with a game.

i palyed the wii over the weekend at a gamestop -- the controller is really cool. i played a truck game, and so did my g/f (a complete non-gamer/almost anti-gamer) and she had a blast with it. i think it iwll take them a year or two to really exploit the controller to the fullest but once they do, its going to be awesome.

yeah, i heard about that -- i'd like for that stuff to come down in price a bit before i upgrade -- i'd rather not spend over 5 grand on a new PC....

Got a 360, getting a wii this weekend, waiting on the ps3 till there are more than just launch games (and i have money for it). as for the PC, im waiting for next year, after vista comes out and they have a couple of generations of directx10 video cards out to upgrade.

Personally I don't care who wins the Ohio St-MI game but i think it will be great to watch. As a Big Ten fan (Illinois), I'd love to see the 2 rematch for the title game. And no, I don't think we'll beat tO$U this weekend, but i hope we put up a good fight.

my guess is that on ebay you'll be able to get a lot more than 1000-1200 for a PS3. I'd say at least 2000, probably closer to 3000 given the short supply.
