    I'm not sure about a temp certificate. My Doc I use for FAA medicals just types me up a new one on the spot and that's the cert I keep until next time. James

    At a quick glance I did not see it, only the Driver lic record search consent. I would like to know how the FAA found out about Ron's Kidney stone issue though. James

    They can and do find out. I just got a letter from the FAA saying they need more info on the kidney stone I had at Nationals last year. *I* didn't remember a kidney stone being a problem for a medical. So, I didn't disclose it to the FAA.... But I sure got a letter from them. So they can and do find out things you don't disclose. Question 18 Have you ever in your life been diagnosed with, had. or do you presently have any of the following.... Section J yes/no kidney stone or blood in urine.... Kind of hard to forget while filling in the form. Also question 19 visits to health proffesionals in the last 3 years, Yes-explain/no. How is this going with the FAA? Many would suggest a lawyer to deal with the FAA in this type of situation. Remember anything you say can and will be used against you. I wish you well in getting this "fixed". James

    To make it a simple comparison how about if the op jumped his canopy at his .97 wingloading. Then packed it identically and jumped again with 75lbs of lead strapped to him and opened with the same body position. Taking randomness out of the equation do either of the jumps have a quicker opening/shorter snivel? James

    I was talking about getting more back than you paid in.(not paying anything for the year) The last two years I have gotten back more than I paid in to Fed income tax. That is without counting the $8000 1st time home buyer tax credit I got for buying a home in Nov 2009. I most likely would not have bought the home without the $8000 tax credit. James

    With any luck we'll have a better year this year. In 2007 I paid in more to Fed income tax than my total income for 2009. It's tuff out there in a recreation based business. I very much hope to be shouldering the burden again in the near future. James

    I'll start, I got back more than I paid in for the last two years on Fed income tax. I'm by no means poor. I bought a home last year, but would still have gotten back more than I paid in if I did not buy the home. I'd like to thank all of you who contributed Fed income tax dollars so that I could get back more than I paid. I'd like to really thank all of you for the $8000 check I got two day ago. (1st time home buyer) Maybe I'll be able to fly more this year. Thanks Again, James

    Will fireplace heat be a problem when the TV is in the up position and the fireplace used? I've never had a fireplace so I don't know how much heat would be in that area. James

    The only thing I've been able to come up with is if a couple has less than 2 children they are failing to provide a future tax base for the US. I know, pretty weak. James
