ok, i'll quit belly-aching, mine came in the mail today..... Seriously, usually I am several days behind the people on here- I already know what it says long before I get a chance to read it. It came quickly this month!!!
-
I too would like to know people's thoughts on this. I also want to know why I am the last one to get my Parachutist every month!!!!
-
Congrats! Isn't it great to jump your own stuff?? Well, how does she fly?

ALL RIGHT, YOU CONVINCED ME!! I left work early today and went to the doctor. She had a couple ideas: 1. My blood pressure today was 85/55, which is in the low range. This is NOT becuase I am in great shape or anything, believe you me! 2. She thinks it may be my already low blood pressure combined with the rig on my belly, conbined with altitude, combined with reaction to the flu shot I got on Friday. I believe all of the until the flu shot part. She took blood, so I will know more later this week! Thank you all for looking out for me. If you hadn't all been so adamant about it, I might not have gone to see her! I'll let you know if I learn anything else.... Anne

As long as we are placing orders, Tell Tigger that if he ever needs someone to go bouncing with......

It was ignorant joke weekend at my DZ so.... Q: Why do women have the children? A: Because it hurts and they deserve it. Q: Why do women have faces? A: So you can tell their mouths from their assholes. And the worst... Q: What is the worst part about eating bald pussy? A: Putting the diaper back on.

I just want to know you ever sleep, work or skydive. I find that those three things severaly limit my ability to post!!!!

Ok, I saw two guys last night wearing these cool pants. They were made of F-111 fabric, it looked like two layers, maybe black and then white on top. Elastic ankles? I think Brian said they were made by Bounceproof, but I might not be remembering correctly. I can't seem to find them. Does anyone know about these pants and where I could get a pair??? Thanks, Anne

I guess I am nust not that worried. I assume it happened because I was jammed between the copilot and another jumper. Her rig was on my belly, and I couldn't breathe normally. It was chilly this weekend, so we did not have the door open during the climb. I think I just got too hot, and too little fresh air and couldn't get full breaths. Does that sound crazy?

Sounds SOOOOO cool. I have yet to try it, but I sure want to!!! I am jealous!

Andrea, How many do you have now?? Did you get to #100??? I am currently at 93, so I am truly enjoying the suggestions on this thread! Naked jumps don't go over well where I jump, so I like the SCR idea. I am also thinking eagle?? Is that a good plan?? If you already did it, I hope you had a blast!!! Anne

yeah, you might amputate someone's finger with it!! What else would fit in it?? You certainly couldn't slit anyone's throat with my hook knife!!!!

Certainly not preggers (my hump/jump ratios always seem to start with 0:....) I did not jump anymore on Saturday, but I made one jump today. I was fine. I was very aware of how I was feeling on the entire ride up. I sat by the door, no one in front of me, so I had plenty of room to breathe!

So I should be done for a while!! 1. Cutaway a month ago. 2. Premature deployment while in a flat spin at 6000' last week 3. Passed out in plane!!!! Yesterday (my birthday) I was going up for my third jump of the day. There was a nine way, a two way, then me and Jablen79. So, I got in first and was back to back the the guy flying right seat on our King Air. We had five people on the bench, so we were tight. I remember feeling a bit hot, then the next thing I remember is opening my eyes and not knowing where I was. I was really confused and frightened. Joe was awesome enough to ride down with me (he owes beer for that......but I will let him tell you!) Once on the ground I felt fine. I have never passed out before, not skydiving or anytime else. Scary!!! I still really don't know what happened. Anyway, if bad things come in threes, I am set for a while!!!! I hope you all had fun, safe jumps! Anne

Nine year difference, ya brat!!!! I SWEAR I am only 29!!!!!!!!

The best advice I ever got while trying to land softly (still working on it!) was to look from side to side as I approached the ground. You know you shouldn't look at the ground, but watching the horizon did not help me. I glance from side to side to judge the proper height to begin my flare.

To complete AFF is one question, but to get a license is another. In the US to have an A license, you have to have 20 jumps, and that is hard to do in just a few days. Why are you in such a hurry? Take your time and really learn how to fly yourself and your canopy!
-
I wondered whether you'd buy that, it just happens to be the case!!! I was born 10/27/1972. I SWEAR!!!!!

"Female cadets -included-." ah, at least we have extra padding?? OUCH!!!!!! is that a good tradition????
-
you are good, Don!!! I am happy to say I will be 29 years old!!! I might have an issue about growing old, but I jump out of airplanes, so life is good.

My birthday is Saturday and it has been saved!!! After my cutaway a month ago I have been renting gear waiting for my replacement parts to come in and THEY HAVE ARRIVED!! My rigger will be done repacking my reserve and fixing the stitching on my main risers in time for a jump-crazy weekend!!! Happy Birthday to me!! I hope you all have as good of weekends as I know I will!

Ok, totally not skydiving related, but I am pissed! I have become a huge Zinfandel fan (not white zin, real zin) I have been enjoying Rosenblum Cellar's Vinter's Cuvee XII. I have described it as heaven on my tongue. It is about $14 a bottle, so I can afford it. I have noticed at the store that Cuvee XII is being replaced with Cuvee XIII. Same vineyard, company, name.....just bottled a different year. I had tried them both and really did not notice a difference. Just for kicks tonight I am having both of them side by side. The old one is SOOOOO much better!!!! I am sad that it will be hard to find soon!! I know, life is tough, but i am sad!!!

Ben, I can't seem to get blueskydiving.com- it gives me an error message. Are you sure about that address?? Thanks, Anne

16. Go West on I-70 WEST to I-255 (Exit 10). As you pass exit 61 you will be within a mile of my DZ- Archway Skydiving Center! If you drive by on a weekend, you've gotta stop by and say hi to me, FallinMarc, indyz, and JAbeln79! Blue Skies, Anne
