May I ask why?
-
- Upfront investment (Skyventure, land, building contracters, etc) - Power costs (not, by any means insignificant) - Profit.
-
Why not just ask him? His contact information is readily available.

cf. The Jamie Oliver School Dinner furore in the UK last year.

Good night of what? Cleaning the house, doing the dishes? I hear women love that stuff.
-
It's a problem with the attachment.

Always happen to find yourself in the gay areas don't you Andy. Are we talking about the same place? I lived there for over three years and I can tell you there's not much of a gay scene there. There is rockclimbing though.

Forgot: - Peroni Nastro Azzuro - Birra Moretti

Anyone ever travel South America? Skydive there at all?

You shoulda come to Australia instead. We're used to dirty freeloaders sleeping at the DZ . -
I know Wetherspoons quite well. Handy for a cheap meal. There's a nice one on Mile End Road in the Whitechapel/Stepney Green area. Still, pretty mediocre beer in most - do they still do the ales of the month? The best of the chains that I recall is are the Hogshead. Or maybe it's just that the couple I've been in in the City kept their beer well.

Damn. I could give you a list of decent pubs in the Central London area, but I've only been to Cambridge once or twice & don't know the area's pubs at all...

What part of the UK are you in?
-
To start you off: - Budwar - Staropramen - Asahi Super Dry - Tsing Tao - Singha - Amstel can be quite nice.

Any lager brewed in the UK and generally available is shit. The versions brewed in the beer's home country is far superior*. The Kronenbourg brewed in France is delicious. The Stella Artois brewed in Belgium is a tasty drop. The Heineken brewed in the Netherlands is refreshing. The Carlsberg brewed in Denmark is an excellent beer. The UK-brewed versions of all of the above are shit. * Fosters is an exception to this. It's just shit.

Shotgun.

Tasty. Have you tried Tsing Tao? If you like Singha, you'll most likely enjoy it. Ditto with Asahi Super Dry.

The Australian Parachute Federation has gone through much of the stuff you're speculating on. Jumpers in Australia have to be a member of a CASA (=FAA) approved organisation. The APF have shown themselves to be pretty decent custodians of responsibility for governing the sport. So much so, that CASA is moving towards making the sport entirely self-regulating. You might find that making contact with the APF a useful exercise.

So what do you want done with your body after death?
bob.dino replied to gontleman's topic in The Bonfire
Harvest the organs and cremate would do for me. -
I'm not really sure how, especially since the Chairman of the FCC said in mid-Jan that under current rules they wouldn't be allowed to merge.

Swoopers - could/would you upsize if you had to?
bob.dino replied to skybytch's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I know of one that's done it, and one that's talking about it. -
How much is your membership this year?
bob.dino replied to bigway's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
If I remember correctly, the Australian Parachute Federation renewal last year was AUD 215 (or AUD 198 if you renewed promptly). That's about USD 165 or USD 155. -
Don't buy DRM-encumbered music? It's Defective By Design. Next time, purchase your music from eMusic.

What to do when Jump Pilot isn't licensed???

The FAA search engine for Legal Interpretations. -
She said that for $600 there'd be head down and tunnel time. Isn't that enough? The three-way she and Jewel participated in is probably extra. However, I do hear you get a DVD at the end.
