I've stayed there as well. Nice owners, clean room. Recommended. It's on the other side from Xscape of the shopping centre that dominates the centre of Milton Keynes.

The easiest way is to get it to Hugh Wingate to do it for you. He runs a dry cleaning business and has the setup to wash the rig without dodgy chemicals or too much hard work. Your rigger should be able to organise it for you - I know Steve Smith can, and I'm pretty sure Andy Knowles can too.

Douggs and Wildy have both represented Australia in FS. And both have suitably silly haircuts .

I've jumped a 170. I believe that in the past they may have manufactured more sizes.

bob.dino replied to bob.dino's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Australian Nationals in FS, AE, & CF: March 31 - April 9! The best competitive skydivers in Australia are going to be at Picton from March 31st to April 9th. Why not join them? Get a team together, do a few jumps, and come have some fun! Haven't got a team? Come along and get a scratch team together... or just show up for the 10-Way Speedstar on Good Friday or the 16-Way on Easter Saturday! Even better: there's going to be a lot of cartons on the bar from the medal winners! Event Start Dates 31 March - Official Practice 02 April - 4-Way FS and Canopy Formation 04 April - 8-Way FS and Artistics (including Freeflying!) 06 April - 10-Way Speedstar - Good Friday fun! 07 April - 16-Way FS. Rego & Jump Prices 4-Way and/or 8-Way - $100 (covers both events) Canopy Formation - $100 (covers all events) Artistic Events - $100 (covers all events) 10-Way & 16-Way - $100 (covers both events) Jumps - $38 Aircraft - 10-way & 16-way are out of the Twin Otter. Everything else is out of the 750XL. The Meet Director is Jon McWilliam, and the Chief Judge will be the wonderful Gail Bradley*. There's going to be plenty of training camps running in the lead-up, so if you want to get some jumps in, contact Jon McWilliam at the dropzone. All the same info: http://www.sydneyskydivers.com.au/events.htm * Ya think that might be worth a couple of points for me in 4-way? -
I think you'd learn a huge amount by picking up a copy of Brian Germain's The Parachute And Its Pilot. It answers your question, as well as providing a huge amount of other information useful in keeping you alive.

Hmmm...hadn't heard of them until now. A bit pricey, but I'll definitely look into it! Thanks! Cookie makes excellent helmets, and the service is top notch too.

If you'd stated that in your initial post, you wouldn't have got all these responses from folk concerned for your safety.
-
Me too, though without the exclamation marks. Sam 170, and a 135 on the way to replace it as my primary canopy.
-
I prefer #1, but then I'm not your target audience. You might do well to contact your local yoga/meditation/alternative therapies centre and perform an informal poll.

It's just more security theater.

Mind-blowing sex. Neck up. I'd have no problem going to a huge party naked. I wouldn't particularly want either. Cure cancer. People need to change for themselves, not have change forced on them. None. Maybe.

Try: "Boss, I'm pregnant and have morning sickness."

You won't have problems with Waycool or Cookie Composites. Grant and Jason (Cookie) are both top quality people.

18:45 UK time on Jan 19 is: 05:45 on Jan 20 in Sydney 10:45 on Jan 19 in California 13:45 on Jan 19 in New York.

That's kind of the point...

If you like that kind of humour, have a look at b3ta.com. It's where a lot of this kind of stuff originates, though it's possible they've gotten over their multi-year kitten fixation by now...

As others have said, demo. The Safire2 has a reputation for better openings than the Sabre2 (off-headings, closed end-cells). The Pilot has fairly high front-riser pressure. Try all three though, and see how you go.

...and he was last here an hour ago.

It's official: women want a guy who other women like

It works the other way 'round too. -
Is she a jumper? Where is she?

Nice post. The attachment to High School seems to be a peculiarly American thing. Or, more accurately, the public obsession with it is. I don't know of any other culture which spends as much time obsessing about its teenage years. Anyone know why?

For completeness, it may be worth noting that Big Air Sportz Samurais (manufactured by PD), are now coming with HMA.
