Usually at around 20-40 jumps. Note to less experienced people: doing a hop n pop at 2500ft is very different to dumping at 2500ft at terminal velocity. In the first instance it takes ~10sec to reach 1500ft; in the latter it takes but 5.

New PD Website, PD Zone, pics and videos - sweet!

Milka or Lindt should be reasonably easily available. As for PD not testing their new website: make sure the web guy doesn't get any of the chocolate . -
Summerise? Well it's sunny outside, girls are walking 'round in skimpy clothing, there's no soccer on telly, and half the UK is in Spain for two weeks. .

However, he works for Qualcomm, a very big company with an agressive patent policy. It's almost certain that the legal department handled all the details. That said, being the kind of guy he is, Bill probably does understand the patent process backwards, forwards, and inside out.

You're wrong; she's right. Think of it as practice .

The APF have a RW progression table as part of the B licence requirement.

That's a great shot! Captures the glee of the passenger and the url of the operation nicely .

500 posts + a year, isn't it? If so, he's qualified. I'm not. Until July... -
Cascade Premium is probably the best beer in Oz, but it's not quite as nice as Staropramen 12 or Tsing Tao.

Don't worry - it'll just make sure the rear float leaves early .

Are you now a Transvision Vamp?

Cue AggieDave going on about Shiner Bock in 3... 2... 1...

It's part of the training at my DZ to do a hop n pop from 2500ft when you get your first rig. edit: That said, if the jumper wasn't comfortable, there's no way they should've been barracked for standing down.

I think us folks in Oz were just being slack on the numbers front this week... :8:0 5 formation loads on Firday - 34 & 36 ways - to celebrate Dave Ruckert's 34 years in skydiving. 3 jumps on Saturday with my new 4-way team before the winds picked up to "I don't fancy landing in that" levels. For those that don't have the explanation taped to their monitor - and why not? - the numbers are humps : jumps : beer owed. Humps can be replaced by any event notable enough to have made CNN.

eek! eek! eek! Coooool. You gotta get those last ones!

Yup. I'd rather have a heart with some scars than never have loved.
-
Hadn't even thought of that! Will we be seeing you in Two Galahs for the next Nats?
-
Yup. I've no excuse for shite tracking!

The world. It's pretty fuckin' awesome.

The DivX and XVid codecs work well, and you can configure them to squash the file size right down without losing too much quality. edit: yeah, just do what Oli said!

They'd shoot it and eat it.

Fixed it for ya .

6' 3", 180lbs. There's lots of tall skydivers, and a 190 that fits a 5' 10" -> 6' 2" person will sell really really quickly. You don't see many simply because they don't stay on the market long - they're snapped up!

The downside of using a pull-up cord: harness turns aren't going to work so well under canopy.
