Yup. Me too for that combo.

It's well over 22,000 by now...

He's an Aussie. We have different rules here; the Starcrest is part of the APF licencing program. I've posted before on the rules, but in brief: - You need a Starcrest to jump with more than 8 people in any orientation. - To get your Starcrest you must complete three Starcrest jumps. - Each jump must contain between 8 & 10 people. - The Starcrestee must dock fifth or later.

That's 'coz stuff in that size goes really really quickly. It's popular enough that there's often no need to advertise it on dz.com - it'll sell at the local DZ to folk like you! So, as NWFlyer suggested, post a Wanted ad. Also, ask around at your DZ. You'll be surprised at what might pop up.

How did you get the funds to jump!?

That's the kind of attitude we like to see. Welcome to the club! -
Attagirl. What caused the chop?

My electrical knowledge is fading fast, but wouldn't you need to be earthed for lightning to hit you?

When you were (or are) a student......

Hop out of the plane and pop open your parachute. Basically, getting out followed by deploying your parachute within a handful of seconds. Usually performed at lower altitudes than a normal jump - 3,000 ot 5,000ft would be common. Some dropzones offer cheaper tickets for people doing hop n pops. -
Since when are beer and sushi mutually exclusive? Oh, and try Niigiro-sake.

I like this one, though I'd amend it a little: "You can trust me with your life, and you can trust me with your home."

...unless you use two control pieces: one exposed to the sun without any contaminants, and one not exposed to the sun at all.
-
I've thought about that one a few times too, and don't have a satisfactory explanation either. Oct 14th will be the second anniversary of my first jump.
-
I think most people of sound judgement would tell you that jumping out of a plane is stupid and that the risks outweigh the rewards by far. But we still do it. 'Coz we like it, and for us the rewards are worth the risks. Stones, glasshouses, and all that .

It's now much better without that stray url tag. However, for it to read more clearly, break it up into paragraphs. It's very difficult to read that much text in one sitting.
-
In short: we need rocket-fired reserves that can deploy when the jumper is wrapped. Apparently the design of such a system would be easy.
-
So why don't you do it yourself then? Oh, and that's possibly the worst-formatted post I've ever seen on dz.com, and that's saying something. Please remove the url tag.

Hear hear.

The easiest way to spot a backpacker at an EU border control: they're the ones annoying the staff by asking for stamps. All the Aussies do it.

Oi! I said no when you propositioned me!

She ain't a skydiver, so I think I'm safe .

Both the quantity and quality have been really marginal of late. Ah well.

I believe you were given a set of opinions in July.

Humps* : Jumps : owed. * or other significant event. So, for example: : 5 : 0 means I didn't get laid, I did five jumps, and I owe no beer.
