"Inventing New Lies About Terrorism" (Strategy Page)

You are right. There will come a day when the good people will eventually have enough of this federal rule and they will rise up to take back their rights. States are losing their rights due to Federal blackmail. The people are being watched with an ever hateful eye. Oppression breeds aggression. There will come a day when the values of the Confederacy will be seen as the answer to ending the oppressive Federal rule over individual states. Give back state rights and allow the people to decide. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young -
Who is to really blame for such outragously high healthcare? Some want to blame those who are ill. I blame the system that allows pharm companies to charge outragous prices for a single pill. I blame the specialized medical field that feels that they should be able to wipe out your life savings for the lousey service that they offer (AIDS doctors seem to be good at doing this. I know firsthand. When my money was gone, so was treatment. No money? Fuck off and die!). I, also, blame the insurance companies who dictates who gets what. I put part of the blame on those who are only there for the profit. Those include the thousands of doctors who file false claims, trumping up treatments that were never performed or doing surgery that never needed to be performed. Why blame the sick who are only wishing to stay alive? Blame the assholes who would kick you in the head untill you are dead and then steal your wallet before they walk away. Bush should do the right thing and pay out of pocket for his treatment as I have done. He is a multimillionaire and can easily afford it. I am broke and I have a dr. appointment in sept.. Medicaid will pay a small percentage of this but, the majority is solely on me. It took several years to pay off the last visit. I am struggling with whether I shoulld cancel this appointment. I cannot afford another bill that will take several years to pay before I can see the dr. again. Being that I do not qualify for medication and the visit is only to monitor my blood, is it really worth going in to hear more bad news? Hell, they never gave me the results from two years ago. In order to hear the results, you have to go in on an appointment so that they can charge who an outragous fee. So, I paid the jerks a large sum of money for nothing. Healthcare was very little to do with actual healthcare and everything to do with higher profits. Blame the greedy at the top of the money pile. No-one says they were great. Really? Did you miss freethefly's "Pretty much the same as here in the U.S."? I was under the impression he referred to the quite recent era of lynchings, draggings, and sitting in the back of the bus. He did... in response to another matter. Nice sidetrack. Referring to it as a "quite recent era" was a nice touch, too. SSDD Actually, I used it in two different contextes. Yet, I never said that Iraq was a great place to live under Saddam. My referra to being the same as the U.S. (or any other country) is that if you keep your nose out trouble, do not try and topple the government, don't break the laws of the country, chance is far better that you will live to an old age outside of a prison wall. I, also, referred to the recent era (and yes, that era is recent) when it was routine for the police to drag black people from their homes and beat them for sport, allow lynch mobs to hang them, chain them to trucks and drag them, to protect members of the KKK (I hate that these people took a proud flag that my ancestors fought under and turned it into a racist symbol in the 60's. Up untill then the KKK only used the American flag), constantly deny that it was even happening. Not much different than what Saddams people were doing. If our government continues to whittle away our rights, we will eventually fall under military rule. It may be a long slide but, it will eventually happen. As it is now we are closer to complete Federal rule than we have ever been since the civil war. A government that rules every aspect of your life is a dictorial government and is a dangerous government. La Confederación se Levantará Otra Vez VIVE DE LARGO LA CONFEDERACION! My flag has stars and bars! "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young -
Bush Refuses To Set Timetable For Withdrawal Of Head From White House Banister WASHINGTON, DC—Though critics have argued that he does not understand the futility of his current situation, President Bush announced today that he has no plans to remove his head from its current position: wedged painfully between two balusters on a White House staircase. "Setting a timetable for withdrawal of my head would send mixed messages about why I put my head here in the first place," Bush said at a press conference on the Grand Staircase. "I am going to finish what I set out to accomplish here, no matter how unpopular my decision may be, or how much my head hurts while stuck between these immovable stairway posts." Democrats, emboldened by electoral victories that gave them control of both houses of Congress, are calling for Bush to begin withdrawing his head from the banister immediately. "Why does the president refuse to pull his head out of that banister?" House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in a speech yesterday. "Hasn't he had his head in there long enough? We'd all like to know just how the American people are being served by him keeping his head in that banister." Entering its fifth day, the president's incursion into the banister is now widely considered a quagmire. Bush initially told the nation that he was going to stick his head through the banister in order to secure stockpiles of cashews on the other side. Though intelligence reports cited by the president seemed to indicate the presence of these cashews, a comprehensive probe by White House personnel revealed that no such nuts existed. "If the president truly believed there were cashews, why didn't he ask a staffer to go around to the other side of the staircase and check for cashews first?" Rep. John Murtha (D-PA) said. "Or even just look through the banister before slamming his head in there in such a way that it can't be extricated." Many Republicans who supported Bush early this week are now publicly criticizing the president for the way he got into the banister. "I stood by the commander-in-chief's decision to stick his head in this banister from the beginning," said Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-NE). "But now I'm beginning to think he may have rushed into this without thinking through all the consequences of his actions." Voters are also voicing concerns about this latest predicament. Chicago resident Peter Colby, 41, who recently took part in a tour of the White House, said he thought Bush's actions were hurting the country's image abroad. "It's embarrassing to see the president of the United States with his head stuck in a banister," Colby said. "He just looks stupid." The few supporters Bush has left are privately concerned that he will go down in history as the president who wedged his head through a banister and refused to take it out despite widespread negative public sentiment and political pressure for him to do so. For his part, Bush has scoffed at such suggestions and accused his critics of exploiting the issue without providing any viable alternatives. "I hear a lot of criticism from the other side of the aisle, but what is the Democrat plan for victory here?" Bush said. "Some suggest rapid withdrawal, but that will most likely hurt my ears by bending them the wrong way. Others have suggested turning my head from side to side and slowly working my way out, which we all know is a recipe for failure." In recent days, the Bush administration has been attempting to sell a new plan based on a strong forward surge. "The only way for the president to successfully remove himself from this situation is not to pull his head out of the banister, but to push his whole body through," White House Chief of Staff Joshua B. Bolten said. "We're asking Congress and the American people to give the commander-in-chief a chance to try this new plan, which involves forcing his shoulders, torso, arms, and legs through that banister." Bush's perceived stubbornness and refusal to accept the intractable nature of the problem only further fanned the flames of opposition. "This administration needs to face the reality that some places are simply too narrow for the president to jam his head into," Newsweek columnist Michael Isikoff said. "President Bush is acting like a small child who, even after doing something terribly ill-advised—namely putting his head in that banister—still refuses to admit any error." "This whole thing's just incredibly fucking stupid," Isikoff added. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

It gets the louisville slugger treatment several times a year. I should swap it out with a box filled with cement every night. Let the bastard bat that at 40mph. Drunks at 1:00am must have better things to do than play mailbox baseball. I guess this is karma for all of the mail boxes that I batted as a teenager "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

So drink drivers should only be arrested if they wreck and hurt someone, after all just being drunk at the wheel is not bad, I mean you will probably be OK, most of the time they will not wreck. The law is trying to prevent a bad situation from even happening, it is not the law that it daft. With that reasoning, we all should be quickly locked away as anyone of us may be capable of commiting a serious offense. And who could reasonably complain since the law is only trying to prevent a bad situation from even happening. Casting a net over everyone is daft. Well, the French did dump the "Le Car" on Americans and Americans bought it. They can't be all that dumb. Side note; The designer of the Le Car died before it was revealed saving himself from facing the embarrasment of designing such a major piece of junk. Top speed of the Le Car was near 50mph, downhill with a tail wind. Any head wind and it was going back up the hill backwards. One must be very careful not to hit bugs on the freeway in a Le Car as a good size butterfly would most likely total the car. Butterflies seemed to fly away with but a bent wing. Maybe you should do some simple research before claiming to know more than Al Gore. Here's a bug for your ear. http://www.state.gov/g/oes/rls/fs/2002/8989.htm From government page; It is amazing that some would hate such a person as Al Gore when what he does is beneficial for the entire planet and for future generation. Some people are just hard to understand. Always preaching hate while claiming to be good christians with good moral values "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

To be fair, I believe that John is speaking for those who are responsible. However, I don't think NYC is a good place for guns. I have lived there off and on when inspecting the subway and rail system. It is greatly overcrowded. Unless you are a crackshot, chances are you will hit a bystander. It is extremely hard to hit a target that is moving in the open, let alone in a crowd, with a pistol. Ask any cop how hard is it to hit a stationary target in a defensive shooting stance when the adrenaline is pumping. Not easy to do. Try it on the street when there are bystanders and chances are someone other than the assailant will be hit. On onehand, I see the reason for the law. On the other it is draconian to cast a broad net over everyone. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

You may want to do abit of research on that one. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/01/22/60minutes/main595214.shtml "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

I've owned a gun since before age 10. My first was a Mossberg 20gauge pump. I had it untill it was stolen, along with my truck in Mississippi. I have never had "training" on a gun. I learned gun safety from my dad. As for guns "shooting out". Guns don't shoot out unless someone pulls the trigger. I have no problem with responsible ownership. Responsible people do not go around shooting up neighborhoods. Assholes do. They ruin it for everyone else. Those people are the yahoos and are mostly responible for stricter gun laws. If gun laws targeted solely these people then no problem with sending someone up the creek. However, when the law is designed to target everyone, regardless, then it is draconian. Neither is a heavy sentence. Those who are determined to carry an illegal gun, for whatever reason, will do so without regard. It's all grey and completely void of contrast. How can a law that cast a net over everyone be anything other than draconian. There are far more responsible gun owners than there are those looking to cause harm. They should fight for the middle ground. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

Back in 1997, my fiest computer got hacked when I openned an email. There wasn't nothing in the email but a link to click. Not knowing anything about viruses, I clicked it and my computer shut down and then restarted. A few weeks later I was getting emails from people saying that I was sick to be sending sick pictures to people. I had no idea what they were talking about. One day I was just looking around at the different files on my computer and found a bunch of pictures of people being crapped on and pissed on as well as an email address list. As I was deleting the pics, more pics started coming in. I could not stopped them. I had to take the computer to a computer doctor to have the virus removed. I then got protection from such through McAfee. I don't know what the deal is with the op's computer or the person in question but, I'd be very careful to protect myself first, if I were you. Actually, I do agree with you, John. I do think that the punishment is far worst than the crime of merely having a gun. The same with marijuana as with guns, the punishment is draconian. 3.5 years is insane. They should fight for a change. I did a little bit of research on NYC gun permit laws. Very interesting. http://www.ci.nyc.ny.us/html/nypd/html/dclm/ldinfo.html "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

Holloween, some years ago. I took them trick or treating and had my own bag for treats. Oddly, most houses gave me beer instead of candy! "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

Vitter not only cleared this with his obediant wife servant, he also got the okay from god himself. God told him that he was forgiven. How conveniant is that!!!! Well, there you go. Vitter is not only a hypocrit, a whoremonger, the master of his "wife"(damn, is that woman stupid or what?), but he is also dillusional and hearing voices. He should be assigned to a padded room. He is obviously deranged. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

Surely, you are not alright with people carrying an illegal loaded handgun. They are breaking the law. If they do not like it, they should try to change the law. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

Whose ass exactly are we kicking, other than our own? As for gassing blacks. No. Many were satisfied with just hanging them from the nearest tree or chaining them to the back of a truck for a good old dragging. That ought teach em! America is a boiling pot of backroom bigotry. Say one thing up front and another out back. LBJ was very good at doing that. He often refered to blacks as "nigger". He was a true hypocrit as well as a racist. A good number of blacks are just as guilty. I can only imagine what Jesse Jackson really believes. As for the Kurds being gassed? One should look at Dupont as well as the very government that turned its eyes the other way. The U.S. supported Saddam. The U.S. gave the Iraqis the Iranian troop positions so that they could gas them. Don Rumsfeld was all to happy to shake hands with Saddam. America will turn its back on anything as long as the monsters do as its master ask it to do. When the monster balks, the master attacks. Well, as long as you go puke it all up in the parking lot afterward, then there is no harm done. That only made room for more beer "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

Especially the Kurds and the Shiites. Not very long ago white america had a problem with blacks (many still do). Police would routinely beat on them for sport in some parts of the USA. Now many Americans are enraged with hatred for Mexicans. As for the Kurds, the U.S. is just as responsible for what happened to them. The Kurds feel it to be true. http://home.cogeco.ca/~kurdistan1/17-1-04-opinion-naqishabandi-us-must-stop-meddling.html As for the Shiites, they seem to be the same as the Sunnis as they each want ultimate control over the other. They will never get along. They are to deep in their beliefs. Interesting comparrison; http://islamicweb.com/beliefs/cults/shia.htm "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young -
Alcohol is socially accpetable - being a raging drunk is not. Especially if it turns you into a serial chubby-chaser. Kidding. Or, a chubby cereal-chaser Not kidding Yeah. That piggin' out at 2am is always healthy. I hear that. 6 egg omlets, biscuits and gravy, grits and a slab of bacon at 2am is always a healthy choice. which is kinda sad.. as i believe that the majority of the people are quite nice in fact, but nonetheless, their leaders political agenda sucks big time..! True. The vast majority of the people worldwide are not mean people. It seems that the governments that we are under make us all appeare to be bad people. For years all Russians were viewed as murdering, godless heathens bent on killing every breathing American. The federal government told us this (I think that the Russian government told their people the same lies). We believed our government. Fact is, is that most Russians are very good people. It is the years of propaganda being pounded into our heads from very young untill death. What else are we to believe? It was only after traveling around the world and meeting people did I realize that they were the same as myself and only wanted what the rest wanted - to be left alone, to be respected, to be allowed to live without fear. Governments have a way of taking that all away in the name of control. Make the people fear another group of people and they will fall in line to carryout the will of the government. WHAT!!!! Those people across the ocean don't like me???? They want me dead???? WOW, we better kill them first. See what I mean. Pound it long enough and it only gets worst. Al Qaeda is the product of the CIA. The name Al Qaeda comes from a CIA terrorist traing camp called Al Qaeda. The words mean "The Base". The feds would have you to believe that Al Qaeda just arose from nothing. You reap what you sow. If you don't want an out of control crop, you best tend to the fields. Obvious that the feds left the fields to be overrun by bad weeds. So, who's to blame. The majority of the people lived day by day with no problems. Pretty much like here in the U.S. or anyother country. Most kept their noses clean and did not try and topple the government. They had no problem with Saddam. Same as here in the U.S.. Try and topple the federal government and you will find yourself in a deep, dark prison cell never to see sunlight again. The same in all other countries. With more than 80% of Iraqis hating the U.S. for what it did to them, their country, their children, their hospitals, their schools, everything they had taken from them, their doors being kicked in daily, their families living in fear of being taken away by U.S. soldiers, I think that the U.S. only created 80% more Iraqis who are more likely to side with the insurgents. Some Americans wonder why we are the most hated people on the planet. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young -

Not refuting that the CIA has done many vile things, but what has it done to start wars, create death squads or install dictators since the end of the Cold War? As soon as someone comes to their senses, the information will be known. Of course, whoever leaks out their dirty little secrets will be called a traitor. Given the vile history of the CIA, I seriously doubt that they have given up torturing for boyscout merit badges for helping little old ladies to cross the street.
