  1. Well those who have been in this community see the "hypothetical" some times come true, so yes, you will hear about it. Stick to the good square, stable, stearable canopy and land conservatively. Never cut away a functioning canopy if this is not part of an intentional cut away system. 2. I have over 750 jumps on a Rage 360. I found the Canopy to open a lot like the NEW SIGMA II's, flew easy with moderate toggle pressure and flared nice, with plenty of stopping power even if you had a long two stage flare/gliding landing. No tricks to packing them and they are compatible with about any rig as far as I know. As to the OP, when I owned my own rig I got $75.00 a jump if I packed and $65.00 if the DZ packed. It was enough to pay off the rig, but as a "weekend warrior" it was not enough to make a living and handle the long term maintenance and replacement of parts, so I sold it to a fellow I/E who could put it to much better use. I know am a T-I in the rotation, no over head. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
  3. Or did you mean "The Middle Ages" Sorry but this thread was just to mean spirited, thanks for playing along. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
  4. True or even with your hands in your pockets. I go back and forth on the hats thing, if my hands are full or it is the hanger> Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
  5. I know several who own one or two each. I used to own my own as well but sold it as I was not jumping it enough to cover maintenance and replacement parts. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

  7. You have the option now, you can salute or you can place your hand over your heart. I think the law, proclamation or decree (what ever it is "Officially") was made in 08, Maybe? Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

  12. It's all over. I try to blame KY Drivers for my commute being hectic, then I notice the TN, TX, AL, etc plates and go, eh, oh well. But I do notice, when in Ohio, they tend to drive the fastest posted Speed Limit, no matter where they are on that particular road. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. 13. It is a "Tradition" not a requirement. It is a "Tradition" that is generally believed to be a slight "misunderstanding", here is why. In the Past (Distant Past) MOH recipients had a unit parade or "Pass In Review" in their honor. They stood next to the Commander of Troops during the "Review", as the various Subordinate Commands passed by they Salute the Commanding Officer. The Commanding Officer and the MOH recipient would return the salute. This became the "Tradition". I personally would salute any MOH recipient if I recognized them. I believe it is a sign of respect and I think they have earned my respect. Others need not and need not voice their reasons. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. 14. Sure that wasn't the T-7? The T-10 has been rated for 400 ish pounds for as long as I can remember, but memory is slipping. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
  15. Thank you! See both sides have conducted Voter Fraud, to include casting Votes! That has been my stance the whole time, it has happened and it is wrong. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
  16. AS with every thread started in this Forum there are several topics being discussed at the same time. It should be One vote per person. I think what has been shown is that both sides have tried and to a very small degree succeeded in trying to have voters vote more than once or keep "the other side" from voting at all. It is good there have been convictions, it would be nice if it was on both sides. The cases have shown that, although it happens, it is not as wide spread as each side has professed at times. 17. Well, to be fair, the NY Times article has "Convictions" in it, but lets not talk about that. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
  18. I think for that to work Far Part 105.45 will have to be re-written again. It was discussed briefly in the now locked thread in the Instructors Forum. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
  19. So the NY Times Graph, from the same article, that shows actual conviction numbers is not good enough? http://www.nytimes.com/2007/04/12/washington/12fraud.html?pagewanted=all "A handful of convictions involved people who voted twice." "Federal prosecutors in Kansas and Missouri successfully prosecuted four people for multiple voting. Several claimed residency in each state and voted twice." OK, does that meet your requirements? 20. This article, yes, he is convicted of Multiple Voter Registrations. The article does not say if he got to make those votes are when he got caught in the process, but he was convicted on Voter Fraud. The NY Times article you skipped past, this time, has 23 convictions. It only took one vote to make your statement incorrect. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
  21. I looked at the graph where it said CONVICTED and the total is 23. http://dailycaller.com/2010/11/23/the-voter-fraud-hall-of-shame-milwaukee-voter-fraud-conviction-makes-acorn%E2%80%99s-2010-total-at-least-15/ This is current and it shows Mr Clancy is convicted of Voter Fraud. My whole issue has been your contention that NO votes where cast fraudulently. I suggest the Court Convictions and various Articles conclude other wise and no one party is innocent. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
  22. http://www.nytimes.com/imagepages/2007/04/12/washington/12fraud_graphic.html It is a 2007 NY Times Article. I figured since out of date sources seemed to be proof it is viable. It shows Voter Fraud Convictions. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
  23. The OP posted a link to a Nov 2010 article. Your "source" is an Oct 2008 article, hardly a "source" in regards to this thread. If you had posted a counter article that had some thing to counter the court convictions that Faux news used, then maybe it would be valid. By your lack of willingness to address this with current and factual counters I am lead to believe that the Fraud did happen and the Convictions are just. Of course it makes it easy to believe when Defendant's plead out for a reduced sentence and helped the Prosecution. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
  24. My head isn't weary. I am disappointed though that you won't go beyond your assertion that no fraudulent votes where cast, with out proof. Is there a source to back that up? There appears to be numerous sources to back the Rights assertion that Acorn and the Left committed Voter Fraud after the Voter Registration Fraud. As to the Lefts assertion that the Right did the same, I think it is true as well. Right and Left Lie, Right and Left Cheat and Right and Left bring each other to trial when one holds the majority over the other. Thanks to Andy who has a better understanding of the law than I and stated it much clearer. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
  25. Your experience is different, but I would not call BS in regards to your experiences. My time of service in the Army stretched through the time the Central and Southern American Countries had a bit of "turmoil". I sat in a village in Central America in the late 80's and heard a Roman Catholic Church Leader say to "strike down the unclean till they breathed no more" and that the "none believers deserved no less than death". It was in broken English and Spanish. Now had he said to defeat the enemy on the battle field I would have understood it more as a Pre-battle blessing. AND to be fair there was US and Honduran Soldiers there as well as Contra Rebels and local Villagers. As I read your quotes I noticed it was all based on the commonly accepted books of the Christian Bible. With even the Roman Catholic Church admitting it has picked selected books and left others out, how is that the ONLY true word? I agree that any religion that says to be kind to one another and love your neighbor is good, regardless of its "faith". I also agree it is the Extremists in any religion that ruins it for the silent and peaceful majority. But I do not think any one can claim that only the religion they follow is the "True Word", for if that was true after all these years then I would think we would have one religion.
