BRADLEY MANNING: POSTER BOY FOR 'DON'T ASK, DON'T TELL'

Splitting hairs here, but I have never heard of a cop being "Ordered" to kill. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -
Probably cause the SEALS didn't translate their Name to mean Seal literally. Or They looked out from the Beaches in SoCal and went "Use that Seal in our Logo" not knowing it was a California Sea Lion. Or In the typed up order to the original Artist they ran out of ink on the ribbon and all the Artist got was"...California Sea L...." Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. OK Quade, let them off the hook already. I personally don't like the guy, but it was a gift and others from that community have said they are OK with it and appreciate the support. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

Dealing with off-landings in a city / urban environment

Good point! I still see so many weight vests out there and they are being worn on jumpers near a body of water. A belt would be easier to get rid of in the unfortunate case of a water landing and doesn't help put the center of gravity in the right spot? Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. No, my employer had to lay off several folks and cut the health care of the rest (I pay for my Retiree Tri care as it is cheaper and better benefits) and a bunch of other cut backs here. I survived all that, but I am in a one man "Department" now. I work for a little less, because of unpaid (furlough) days and do more for that pay, I just don't Advise any more I also Crew on set. Our Contract got renewed but chopped by a large sum, as is needed for the dept to come down, it was a sacrifice and all suggested it, some where surprised when it affected us. I also took on two other side gigs. I also added more "I" courses to my months work, some thing I wish to phase out of. I would eventually just like to Jump, for the Jump! (But First Jump Students are still fun for me!) But as you know I am not a member of any Political Party, so I don't "follow" any one of them. So I don't believe any one of their "spin treatments". When we hire back the cut crew and all are healthy, fed and laughing, then I will think the rest of the country has caught up. I hope that is the case, I don't care who is in charge. True, but the Trident he wears was a gift from a SEAL, supposedly, and another SEAL has "condoned" it, not that that guy actually has the authority to do so. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

Typically Sports Arena's don't have Cables Between the lights, all the power runs up the stanchion the lights are on. Plus if the field is not in use the Net Cables and Camera Cables etc are normally stored "Down" making it a nice out. But this dude was not going to make it. But if he looked down prior to Exit he may have landed at the DZ. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -
" His commanding officers and fellow soldiers considered him to be a subpar soldier: he slept while on duty, had little regard for regulations, required constant supervision, and showed no skill as a marksman. For these reasons, his commanding officers submitted a request that Hendrix be discharged from the military after he had served only one year. Hendrix did not object when the opportunity to leave arose. He would later tell reporters that he received a medical discharge after breaking his ankle during his 26th parachute jump." Not the standards anyone would really strive for, especially 5th group troopers, sounds more like 10th group. Hendrix was in the 101st. So why the 5th and 10th GRP bashing? Or did you just forget your emoticons? Like this one would have been appropriate. I have worked along side a lot of Group Guys, they have a different mind set than Conventional guys, but are good at what they do and do it far removed from the flag pole lots of times. ACORN Workers Convicted of ELECTION FRAUD
matthewcline replied to SkyChimp's topic in Speakers Corner
I think this thread, when on topic, has shown both sides have committed fraud. The thread started about "One Side" having convictions recently. A question was asked and answered as to where ACTUAL votes cast fraudulently, and a Defendant in a court proceeding said Yes. Others when caught claim it is just Political Revenge for their Political Agenda. So I learned, in this thread: All political parties will try at any thing to win, all political parties vehement supporters will help in that endeavor-to include lying about it and defending it, and that we need to improve the system still. WOW before the invention of color! So how many times have you ridden Plan B to the Demo? Me, 1. and I landed on the 50! Standing up and scored a .5! Don't ask how I got to do that though, I had to do good after I screwed up to put me self there. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -
I did a currency jump with a kid who had a magnet closed main bag with a tuck tab set up for the line stows. He had a new bigger bag and it dumped the main right out of the tray. I was sitting in slot, main side and saw the warning label of his canopy at eye level. Apparently the mag flap would not stay closed on the bag "properly" sized for his main, so he bought a new bag a little bigger, it appeared the friction from the container being snug slid the flap open. This seemed to dumped the main and then the lines would pay out and then, wham! He had a canopy. The main opened quickly and had one line twist but he said it didn't feel to hard and that he was used to those quick openings. From the pin being pulled to him under a 80/90% inflated canopy was less than a second, I didn't get the whole word "SHIT!" out and he was gone. I think some sort of locking stow bag is still needed to have a properly staged opening. Tabs or magnets for the remaining stows are probably fine. But I am not a rigger or PRO level Swooper to have aneed for them in my opinion. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

But a couple of Musicians i know have pointed the different places out, of course some are gone now. DaGimp knows he has contacts here, he is just commiserating. I am confused. You replied to me? And the Prof. comment is that a quote or your statement? Sorry, to me it looks like you quoted a ply of mine, and I can't find where I posted any thing beyond the Vote fraud topic. I'm sorry for the distraction. All the gates are expanded now, gate 4 is 6 lanes wide going in! So it is still slow but steady coming on post in the AM. With the current deployment traffic is pretty thin any way right now. The Pink lady burned down a little while back. But the Kat West is still there! and as of now back ON Limits! Hooter's was under water after the flood but they are gonna bounce back just fine. I live "next door" in Clarksville. Buy a house, between exit 8 and 11. If your bringing a youngen' Rossview is the Middle school and High School. Second best is exit 1 and North East HS (I live here off exit 1) Nashville is 45 minutes to an hour south east and there is tons to do there. Land Between the Lakes is 45 minutes west, great water and land outdoor stuff to do area. The Titan's rarely sell out so when your favorite NFL Team is in town you should be able to get tickets. You got the # call if you want more. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
