    2 DZ's with 2 opinions. I get my rigs from a team. We have used 5 different makers over the last 8 years. Including the two in the discussion. Both the Wings and the Quasar II are a good rig. The cost may be different but you have to remember how long each company (the individuals have been building rigs about the same length of time) has been around. A new company may be less expensive to get a share of the market, and an older company has its share and reputation built. Aside from Sunpath and the Relative Workshop, my opinion is that rigs are territorial and that is from the DZ staffs affiliation or lack of. An Instructors first concern is student safety.     Look at Vipers point on WMDs again. He did not say the Soldiers are fighting or dieing (as you point out) for some thing "dumb". The claim that the intel is so wrong because of 1 item, WMD, is dumb. That was his point. Having physically gathered, actually read and acted on the intel he is refuring too, he has apoint on the average citizen of the US (can't speak to other countries) not knowing how to put it in to proper context. The whole system has flaws but far from the catastrophic failure we would be lead to beleive in the media. The failure was implementing a course of action prior too and after September 11, 2001.     The push to get the plan in place failed. Not so much the plan. Since the plan isn't in place we can not say for certain it would have failed.     The Team is still together but as a much smaller force. Come down the School house and we can chat. Just don't do it today as I have been up for 30 hours running the FTX. Come bye Thursday. I have been jumping in Eloy, Thomaston, Yuma, Lake Wales, Ft. Benning, Laurinburg and Cambden, where ever the TDY takes me.     Maybe he meant he didn't get the chance to qualify and still got stuck with the M-9? That is kind of a rule, I don't follow it myself, but I heard it was rule some where. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

    They recruit them from the regular and reserve (on active duty) Army. Last year (and previous years too I believe) you had to have 150 jumps to apply. If your packet is good they will invite you to try out. If you do well enough in try outs then your assigned (if that works out with the Army HQ), normally to a demo team. Normally, it is from the Demo Teams that the next world champions and Tandem Experts are recruited from. There are several Knights who post here that can give ya a better detailed discription. I have only trained with 'em and been on/run two of the "other" teams. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

    Agreed. I was succesful with mine though. I use the 2 shot (aka "Double tap") with all close quarters weapons so I never had any real issues with it. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

    He now is apparently going to go to the actual Post that fallen soldiers served at to picket the memorial services thier units will have. He is planning on coming to Ft. Campbell for this months monthly service and wants to picket at the main gate. What he doesn't know is the citizens around Ft. Campbell can't drive worth a damn and he will get killed by some one who doesn't even know his politics. There is a point I think even our fore fathers would say the "freedom of speach" has been pushed to far. But I wouldn't know where the line would be drawn (but the "reveredn" has crossed it I say).
