Legal or not, Unconstitutional or not. I do not know enough about it to argue yet. Still if they did search you and you didn't know, what was the REAL affect on you? Well it was kind of a tongue in cheek point. Since I didn't see it affect any one (I tend to hang out with law abiding citizens) and I never heard or saw a news story (not that it didn't or couldn't have happened) where some one, who didn't warrant suspicion, was accused by some thing gained from it's use I didn't see the point of the complaining. Really what did we truly loose? I am sure there was some thing, but what? I tend to be out of the house and office more than in, so I don't go looking for "bad" stuff or "good" stuff either. I do not know the details of the "new" act. I didn't agree with all the details of the "old" act. But there is a price for our freedom, I guess we can decide what we think that cost is and VOTE next time, then we can tell the GOV what we will pay for our freedom. True, believers in what they are doing while in uniform will show the discipline they are known for and stand quietly with their fallen brothers or sisters family. They will not act in a violent manner, they will stand in front of, in between and amongst the enemy of proper decorum and show proper respect for the Country, Constitution and poeple they swore to protect. They will honor the fallen with their solidarity. When an enemy is declared (foreign or domestic) then, and only then, will they do those acts of violence that have been (jokingly of course) discribed. I hate Phelps and his ass trash family. IMO as an S&TA, RWS I/E and USPA T-I. Who is 5'8" and 180lbs, with 800+ Tandems. First is the T-I's ability to control the jump. Second is the ability to help the Vid Dude/Dudette. Small T-I and Small Passneger that the experience of the T-I is such they don't need lots of drag on the limbs for control then, yeah sure, less is ok. You can mix and match the T-I and Passneger, but the experience is still the deciding factor. But until the experirence is there, the Vid Person needs to adapt. I feel it is not about "talking the talk" but actually backing it up and "walking the walk". By all means if you or I have the ability to reach millions with our point of veiw do so! The difference is we here tend to vote (A celeb went on TV spouting off at the mouth about voting and then didn't!), we tend to act (in addition to voting), we tend to fall through with our convictions, as best as I can tell. So, because the student is unaware of the ADDED risk of a hanger, it ok? Since they know no better it is ok to have alittle extra fun with them? OK, fine it works no harm done. I was not trying to get into a pissing contest with the uniformed. I was trying to explian the attitude that was being explained. It is hard to do with one who is biased and unable to understand how pride and ego make one act, even though it affects them just as much, maybe not in a "defender of freedom" kind of way but a "user of freedom" kind of way. I think it is more of an attitude that is associated with the Airborne heritage than the 5 jumps. Not to long ago it was more "manly" to be Airborne and it even got "manlier" as you added Airborne, then Ranger then Special Forces, etc. etc. Just clearing up the Manhood comment, not debating the what makes a man theory.
