They have a right to be there. Unfortunately. Why is that unfortunate? Would you prefer to live in a country where the government can single out and deny rights and/or privileges to groups they don't like, even though they're doing nothing illegal? No. I prefer to live in a country where there are no fucking Nazis. One must be careful not to trade one small set of nazis for a much larger and more powerful set. I'd rather have these guys running around in the desert, then another group in Congress the Arizona legislature who would squelch groups of brown people they don't like. Edit: Fixed it. so the AZ legislature is limiting the free speech of american citizens in AZ? When did this happen? I chose a broader definition of the word "squelch"

Really?? Have you ever been through an engineering program? I doubt it because if you had you would know how absolutely stupid that remark is. I went to a big school, known for its engineering and had a roommate and other friends in the program. They took very few classes outside of the engineering school buildings and curriculum. I don't think they even had any electives until 2nd semster sophmore year. So that makes Engineering College a trade school? That is quite a stretch. Not as much as you might think At the University of Illinois, the Engineering campus is on the North side of Green Street (Urbana). There really are students in Engineering here who cannot find their way around the South side of the campus.

At our school you have to PASS all your classes with a "C" average or better. Just completing them gets you nothing. I thought about that while writing that. I should have added it. doing too many things at once People who graduate from college with above a C average are more likely to be able to multi-task -

I'm sorry if you took it that way. I am VERY skeptical of this particular story. I haven't seen any substantiation. I would not be surprised if it turns out to be true. I believe it is a politically motivated story at this point.

if you were actually trying to convince anyone, you might have bothered to put something behind your words... perhaps a source for at least one of those quotes showing it was phony. or if you're not interested in making a persuasive argument continue with your current method. And we'll continue not giving any weight at all to your thoughts. Anybody with a web browser can easily find out which quotes are phony. Those lists of quotes are cut and pasted from various propaganda. I don't care if you give my statements any weight, actually. I think it's the truth and somebody has to say it. Other readers can check for themselves instead of just blindly memorizing or cut and pasting those quotes. If you don't like my posts, then just skip over them. Nobody is forcing you to read them. AFAIK, I am not violating any of the forum rules.
