The first computer that I had was a IBM 5100... 32k, 2 cassette tapes, 3in screen B/W.... Had to write all your own software in Basic We paid IBM $28,000 for it, And that was without the dot printer.... Salesman said we would NEVER need more then 32k..... killler....

If you look at life as just a state of matter, Something that just by chance has come about and is not special at all.... Then it has no more value in one life form then another... We have no way of knowing the pain or sadness that a person feels... We like to judge others using our past experience as a model... But people are not the same and two people in the very same boat, living out the same thing , Walk away with two totally different outcomes... Things that one person shakes off , will haunt the other till the end of time... So... Who am I to judge how much pain or sadness a person should endure, before it's to much... I did it, And it was 15 + years of fun... The win / loss of money is really close, But I never took money out... After 3 yrs at a airport and 2 yrs of renting a plane.. I had finely finished building the runway and dropzone at my farm... Did first jump classes in the living room.. Turned the dinning room in to the bar and grill... And had 4 to 8 people sleeping in the house.. Real old school jumping.... I would have my 6yr old daughter teach PLF's ... And Run her 4yr old brother thru EP in the harness... It was worth every penny... BUT.... I have to add... I had a few REALLY great guys and gals that help make it work... NO one got paid money, But the smiles were worth it... Killler...
