    I do have a problem with those who want to arbitrarily reduce my ability to get out of a situation using maneuverability and speed. That's why I refuse to drive cutback/locked up trucks... I do not think it is safe... The truck I drive will do about 112mph... When I was young and in my prime... I ran that truck 100 mph all the time... I'm older now and turning gray and happy to run 70 all day... Killler

    A light weight car with a 4 banger locked-up so you could only drive it as the computer controls speed and acceleration.... 38mpg would not be out of line.. Killler... But.... Just like there is a black market for tricks to unlock trucks... People would be re-programming the cars...

    I don't know quade... the polls you have pointed out are only 800 to 1300 people.... The yahoo poll is 320,000 people... I think yahoo is a larger sample and looking at the multi questions ask it hard to come to a finding... For example : in the top poll cnn/time they ask if you favor or oppose stricter gun laws 65% favor and 44% oppose . Then they ask will stricter gun laws reduce violence .... only 39% think it would reduce it and 61% think it will not reduce it... So it makes no sense to pass more stupid gun laws... Killler....

    Trucks ( big trucks ) are already locked up by the companies here in the US... Canada ( New Brunswick ) all trucks must be locked up at 68 mph... they pull you over and walk up to the truck and plug their laptop in to the data port and write you a 500 dollar fine and you may not move the truck till you have a shop lock the truck up....     There is NO NEED for fast cars.. They should be locked up with the on-board computer to go no faster then 70 mph... And in fact, The roadway should be embedded with censers to control the max speed allowed on that road.... I all so think that all cars must have a auto shut down if the driver changes lanes without the use of turn signals... If you want to race at a off road track you must have training and pay a fee to the state to change the computer setting at the track... And well we are at it.... There is NO NEED for gas guzzling 6 and 8 cylinder engines.... A four cylinder is all a person needs to get to work or what ever... Killler....

    The sig 522 will be banned as the rules are now... I don't think caliber or bullet type is listed... It's the pistol grip, Bayonet lug, collapsible stock, And thread barrel end with flash/noise suppressor with 30 rd mags.. VERY SCARY GUN.... Killler

    That would make sense... When I bought my sig 522 rifle they did the back round check and I had to wait till the next day to get it.. I was standing at the counter with my hi-power locked and load in the small of my back, Being a CW permit holder for 30yrs... We had a good laugh at least... Killler

    The other day I was down at the court house talking with the DA and a few state troopers and they said they would not give up their guns or remove guns from others... Just ante gonna happen... I feel sorry for New York people today... I think the government is going to be hearing a great sucking sound as Thousands of people and companies leave the state and take their money south and west to free states...     I have not seen one person say that there is NO gun violence or that there is nothing that can be done... All I have seen is people refusing to give up their right to keep and bear arm as written in the 2nd amendment.. But, first we need to start enforcing the laws on the books and stop passing more feel good laws that don't do anything other then stop the law abiding person from enjoying the rights of the 2nd amendment... But all the left see's and wants is to remove guns, ALL GUNS from the other side... It will never happen.. I think a great start would be to reopen all the nut houses and get the nutters off the streets... Then stop arresting and filling are jails with people that smoke weed and start putting gang bangers and the like away for a long... TIME... Killler...

    After 3 pages and working on the 4th ... the liberal anti-gun people have given only one answer.... More gun control... And they have every reason why RICH kids can have armed people in the schools and it's fine.. But any gun in any other school is dangers and will scary the children.. The price to put a armed policemen in every school is to much... But ignore the fact that many schools already have police in them and are all ready being paid... The ONLY thing that they want is MORE GUN LAWS and infringe on our 2nd amendment rights... Killer...

    You have no idea whether or not he had permission from his mother. COME ON.... Are you saying that it is possible that his mother gave permission for him to go on a killing spree ??? From all reports the mother knew her son had troubles and the guns were in a secure area... These guns were legally bought and owned by his mother... They were secured as to the police... If he cut his mothers throat with a butcher knife and the waited for a line of kids waking down the street and used a cars to run over them would that make it better??? THE GUNS DON"T HURT ANYTHING..     As stated in police and new reports the firearms were stored in a " secured " place in the basement in another area from where the son had his computer and games setup.. I would guess that the firearms were stored in a manner that the police found ok... If my kid takes a twenty out of my wallet that's stealing... Any locked storage can be broken in to with tools and time... He may have stolen the key ? We may never know.. But I'm sure is mother didn't give him the ok to use the guns to go on a killing spree .. Killler

    I think he was not on duty at the school when it started... Have heard he was eating lunch... Was called by a custodian to the rear of the school and did in fact return fire with the gunman... The guard (sheriff deputy) gun jammed during the gun fight..
