Bird-man, Loic, Matter did not invent the modern day wingsuits that are safe for the average 500 jump experienced jumper. But we credit them with promoting them and regard them as the inventors. They did not "Invent" Winged flight, Or the idear of winged flight.... They worked on fixing the problems with winged flight.... They used the lessons learned from the parachute and used it to make winged flight safer then ever before... We don't call Bill Coe the "inventor" of the ram air parachute.... He has done more then any other person to improve the ram air parachute... IMO.. We just LOL at people that are so full of themselves and call thing that people have been doing for years "NEW"... Free style is freak flying with a few different moves.... Base jumping is a "new" way to jump.... RW was a "new" way to jump.... CReW was a "new" way to jump.... When we did CReW with PC's and Crossbows it was still "CReW" So just say you have a few moves that are cool and fun to play with..... Killer.....

The 1st Amendment gives me the "RIGHT" to say or write anything.... Even if 99.99% of the people in this country thinks it gross or not nice.... The courts have only put a hold on things like yelling "FIRE" in a building when there is none, And child porn.... Thats the greatest right we have in this country... To be able to express your views freely.... Thats is why the civil right people marched and it why the KKK is allowed to march..... Freedom of Speech.... Killer.....

I've done this a few times for people And it worked very well.... You both pick a rigger to sent the chutes to... He inspects them and then ships the canopies to the new owners... You throw him a few bucks plus shipping.... It will cost some money, But it will be on the up and up... Killer...

Go look in Skys Call..... 18 pages from the back of the book... You will see a picture of the "Atmonauti" skydiver.... He's got all the modern gear.. The picture shows the jumper flying feet first in a near 45* angle with his arm out for a "dock" on the upper jumper who is flying in a head down 45* to get the pin... There are other "FLOCKER" also in the 45*(Atmonauti) looking to dock and flock.... Looking at the gear.... The picture is from the late 60's or at the early 70's ..... Killer............

They have a few ranges in the city, The only thing is you need to have a NYC pistol permit.... When I worked in NYC as a PI with a carry I would go to a place in the Bronx's call Fin and Feather gun club to shoot.... they have a few others.... New York is NOT a shooter friendly place.... Killer....

I never wanted to fly.... I took up flying to be a spare pilot when the real pilots were not around... I owned the plane & dropzone so it was a "NEED" to learn to fly.... I never got anything out of flying cross-country and normal flying.... But... Flying a c-182 at max load+ out of a 1600ft grass strip is "FUN".... Taking-off of a 265' driveway when the runway was muddy was "FUN"... Landing in the night on the little grass strip was "FUN"... I think I understand the guy who said flying was.." Hours of boredom with seconds of sheer terror".... Killer....

One must look at the time the 2nd amendment was written to understand what they were saying.... At that time, People were aware that the only way to have a free state was to have people armed against the powers of a government gone amok... Thats why the separation of powers in the government.... To help stop the government from removing the freedoms they gave to us in the bill of rights.... When I ran My DZ some jumpers would not jump here because I put Safety over Money..... Students are the hardest to deal with... I found that everyone needs to be on the same page.... Nothing worst then experienced jumpers arguing about the safety of jumping in front of students.... Killer.....

I used to jump at lakewood 79'& 80' then went to the ranch.... I remeber jumping the Islander(sp) and you old timers should remeber the 1956 C-182 N5659b that was flying jumpers back in the 60's there.... Was owned by the navy parachute team at one time.... I owned 5659b till last year, She is still flying jumpers at skydive statesboro,ga.... I think its the oldest flying jump plane (C-182) around... Has over 5000hrs of hualing jumpers.... Anyone have a story to tell about it? I know it was the plane that the main gear fell off with jumpers standing on it on jumprun.... Love to hear about it? Killer......

Zero in 1600+ jumps and over 2500 pack jobs on student rigs and reserves with out a malfunction on those rigs........ 27saves It's all about the packing IMO.... Killer......

Ron..... I think you have told us to much already.... The only one needing to see the door and how it's built and locked is someone looking to get in that should not be there.... A pilot with a pistol and training is a great last line of defense.... Killer.....

I think pilots should be armed , "IF" they can use it like a air marshel can.... Letting every tom dick and harry carry pistols is not the answer..... I think many old fighter jocks would be great at it.... killer....

Hitting a person is not like shooting at a range... Ever see the video on "cops" with the white suv and the two cops firing at less then 15ft away and not even hitting the suv or the bad guys.... 23 rounds fired and they hit nothing... Thats the norm, A cop in my town fired 13rds at point blank range (3feet) and missed every shot, The bad guy hit the cop with two out of three rds fired from a stub-nose 38.... Killer....

A armed air marshel in the back of a aircraft unknown to others has the better chance of taking out a highjacker then the pilot.... He has the upper hand..... The pilot is better off behind a locked door and in control of the aircraft.... The training needed is to keep the door locked at all cost.... I think a pilot should be able to carry if he can shoot without missing.... Killer....
