Good year overall.... and still not over. Richard, I'm no expert. I know that. I aslo know that 25 partials in 250 jumps is awfylly high, thats why I ask what a partial was for you. I guess you are right, if you include end cell closure, light line twists, etc... Ths Merrick for clearing up my goal here. There are a lot of new jumpers (or even people who havent jumped yet) reading these threads, and I for one do not want to confuse them with the wrong terminology or procedure. Richard. If we talk about technical issues, lets agree on the terms that are standard in our sport. A streamer is not a total. As Geoff explained, a total is when NOTHING comes out of your container. This is not our interpretation of terms, its the meaning of the word in skydiving. Maybe you're getting confused with high sped and low speeds mals: a streamer being fairly high speed, and line overs/twists being low speed. We have a pretty technical sport, so lets make sure we are all talking about the same thing. Remi Muff 914

I'll be the he voice of negativity here... I think the S&T forum is already a good place for questions about the non-BDSM related discipline issues . Considering thats there are typically 20-30sts a day in thhat forrum, it doesnt take much to cover the questions. If you start splitting things up between 2, 3 or 4 seperate forum, I fear that they may become fairly inactive and people wont visit them too often (I think the video one is an exemple of that: very focused, but not very active or alive) Remi Muff 914

Seriously, we are pretty close on heigh/weigh, so trust me, there aint no reason for you not be able to do RW within a 120mph range. How is your arch? I fly very very neutrall (read almost no arch). I still have range, it just means you need to be much quicker in reading the fall rates, and anticipate more. How are your legs? Do you have video of you from above? I found that for me, what made a world of difference was to fly with my legs close to each other (visualize them touching, but when you see a video, you see that there is plenty of space). Jumpsuit: I am dead serious about big suits.... they may not give as clean an airflow, but unless you're Airspeed, who cares! Especially now that even normal jumpsuits are getting a little baggier, we fat blokes need all the help we can get! (okok.. beefcakes too) The problem that "bigger " skydivers have is that most coaches are skinny little things, and lots dont have a clue on how to fly slower (they know how to slow down, but as far as changing your avg speed for good, most ahave never had to do it).
