Carefull with swoopcords If you start doing more tight-in/quick RW (as apposed to big fairly static stuff) and you extend an arm a bit too much, you may end up with a lot of air catching you and making you not too stable.... If you only have that little fat, you must be fairly tall (I'm 6'2, 230, with.. mmmm, slightly more then 12% fat), so there is no reason why you HAVE to fall so fast (unless you're one of these beefcake bodybuilder types.. then loose the muscles.. lol). I agree, it may take some time to tweak the right combinaison of jumpsuit and body position, but If I can be at the end of a 12 way accordeon, there is hope! lol... Get a big ass jumpsuit... I look like a freeflyier with grips, but you know what: at 230 Lbs, I *almost* never go low... With extra baggy arms, and a bit of wings, and mega booties...It may not look *cool* like tight suits do, but who cares! (or do it the hard way: loose weight.... I know I wont.. lol) Remi Muff 914

Always said that I'd skydive but that it was too expensive when I was at school... then I ended up going on a work term during Uni at a well paying job, so when I came back, no more excuses.... A Uni friend who was expereinced (300 jumps) organized a course at the school, about 40 people took the course. Took me about 1 month 1/2 to do the jump due to bad weather. Did 2 IADs the same day, and then took PFF... Remi Muff 914

could explain a few things.. Clay, unless you can pull differently on the A and B lines, then the shape will be distorted. Think agout it: the tail and C lines dont move, but youre pulling the A and B by, say, 6 inches. If you wanted the shape not to distort, and if the line groups were equaly spaced, you would need to pull the A line by 6 and the B lines by 3.. or am I the one with the crack problem? Remi Muff 914

The pop top cover isnt a big deal at all. Call Bomber Manufacturing. You dont need to open your reserve so no repack required for this one The main flap, you need to ask your rigger if he can do it (dont know what level your rigger is so he might not be qualified, or even if he is, willing to do do). As a backup, call Bomber. No doubt this change would require a reserve repack as the main top flap goes all the way under the pop top. Remi Muff 914

Any pop top (tear drop, vortex....). Its a set up a that lots of people like (100% protected reserve pin) as far as the question of poorly designed tuck flaps, alot of containers had (and sometimes still have) that problem of covers continuously comming open during freefall. Remi Muff 914

Same point I made before: you have made that decision Richard, I hope it works for you when/if the time come to do it; but as a warning to anyone else reading this, the RSL is not designed for that. If its a slow mal, the RSL activation of the reserve should not be a dramatic increase of risk. It becomes a real added risk in a high speed twist, and in these situations, it would be extremely difficult to reach a 1 cm x 1 cm little piece of fabic next to your shoulder and pull on it. RSL have good point, and bad point, be aware of them when you make a decision on your rig setup, but in skydiving, there is no such thing as a risk free setup (for that, stay on the ground).
