Commercial Wind Tunnel Training?

no wind tunnels in the UK. There are strong rumours that plans are in place for one to be build in London (skyventure orlando type with fans sucking the air from the top), but untils its up, I wont really beleive it.... Besides, the cost of things in the UK will probably make serious tunnel time here more expensive then a cheap trip to Orlando... Remi Muff 914 -
Most full time UK jumpers stay in the UK all year long as the dzs run all year long (in the southern 1/2 of the country anyways, dont know about the north), and if they would go away, it would be in the winter, not the summer. There are a few POMs (but not a ton) who call Empuria home in the winter. Also, I thing that what used to be Train In Spain in Southern Spain (RIP) is now Skydive Portugal, a couple of hours away from Lisbon (but its mostly Germans from what I hear) Remi Muff 914

this 780 jump jumper landed his Raven 181 without any problem on a no wind day after a 14,000 foot ride this summer. I am by no means comparing my level with his, but I did not have any issue with the landing at all. Remi Muff 914

L&B's (maker's of the Dytter line) after sale support is second to none. I have tried a few times to get in touch with Parasport Italia (maker, or at the least, seller of the Skytronic) and have never got any response. This is the view and expereince of many many people and a few dealers too. Allthoug this is something I can live with for a helmet, its not the case for a electronic device. no matter what the wingload is, reserves are TSOed at a certain max weight and airspeed. It should not have been a factor if the weight and airspeed were under the TSO limit. So who will you pay that paycheck to Clay? Remi Muff 914
