    On the last union job I was on, I was working under a guy who had traveled for work with the local in Boston. He told me that many non-union shops know better than to bid on jobs within 50 miles of Boston because of sabotage. This guy basically admitted to taking part in such actions. I called him out on it and then he starts back tracking saying what a bad neighborhood it was and anyone could have done it.

    You just made that up, right? Quality craftsmanship and trade unions are not mutually exclusive. I was a member of the IBEW for more than three years. Trade unions oppose free markets. They seek to monopolize labor. Unions want you to have no choice. Their motto can be: "Employ us or go out of business; join us or be out of work." Personally I prefer to negotiate my own terms of employment. I believe in performance-based pay. I wish not to be compelled to have a "middleman" conduct my affairs.

    Cops should carry multiple tasers, so the police officer could taser that pregnant woman too when she threatened him by getting out of the vehicle.

    It is possible that this person has a medical condition that you are unaware of that prevents them from blowing their nose. I know because I once had such a medical condition.

    I am actually a proponent of the Fair Tax. I do not intend to speak for Ron Paul, but I do believe he does not intend to "do away with all taxes", mainly the Federal Income tax and the IRS. You will still be liable for state and local taxes, as well as the gasoline tax which generates the revenue for roads. The federal government will still generate revenue in the form of taxes from sources other than income, similarly to how the government did it before the enactment of the income tax amendment in 1913.

    Relative to the threat we face from economic collapse, terrorists are a minor threat. Imagine hurricane Katrina as a terrorist attack. Now compare the effects of the hurricane on New Orleans and the Mississippi gulf coast to the devastation of a large-scale terrorist attack on a major US city. Hurricane Katrina was a LOCAL event, much like the attacks on September 11, 2001 were mostly LOCAL events in New York City and Washington DC. Our economic problems are a NATIONAL problem, most likely with GLOBAL repercussions. After Hurricane Katrina or the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, most people living more than 100 miles from the destruction were mainly effected by emotions. People living near the destruction could relocate and continue their lives. In the event of economic collapse, there will be nowhere to hide. There will be massive unemployment and widespread starvation. We are closer than you think; our current economy is a juggling act that can fall at anytime.

    I think that if someone wants to kill themselves that there should be no law against it; however, just because someone threatens suicide doesn't make it open season to shoot them. Obviously you have not experienced the abuse and corruption of the criminal "justice" system. Blindly trusting the police is about as ignorant as you can be.

    Well I think its BS how it was reported that the guy jumped after being tasered. He was standing on a ledge, and obviously fell due to the electricity flowing through his body.

    This is fucking retarded. First there shouldn't be a law requiring people to wear seatbelts. If you don't want to wear a seatbelt, fine be a moron. Second when did it become a crime to have a fucking cough?!? I wonder what would happen if a cop was in your face and you had to cough? I bet as soon as you raised your hand to cover your mouth the cop would have you eating pavement.
