I jump an RSL and encourage others to jump an RSL...but it is a personal decision. When I put a camera on my head one of these days my RSL will be disconnected...and only on camera jumps. there are several big name skydivers that wear RSL's..there are several who say they are death traps...it is up to you to get all the information that you can and make an informed decision....dont just listen to your instructors or gear dealer at your home DZ...many times I have scene some DZ's tell there students to remove the RSL..and these people have gone out bought brand new rigs, on blind faith...THAT is a problem... I tend to disconnect my RSL after every canopy deployment. unless I am jumping at WFFC, where I leave it on..in case of a low canopy collision and low cutaway... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

I hurt my knee and Anne hurt hers..hence the reason why we came home early. good news is mine is feeling ALOT better after a few days of rest. I had a GREAT last jump though....SkyDekker and I jumped out of the C130 a 200mph!!!!!!!! god that kicked ass...even if it hurt my knee!!!!

Anne and I havn't gotten ours...but they usualy dont show up till the 6th or 7th of the month....so we shall see....Andrea, Mike said they ship from Tampa where the printers are...NOT from Deland..

Jimbo, thats great advice...airelement...you'd be wise to listen to this first. I know many students that thought they liked the sport after a few tandems. they get to there 10th 11th jump and suddenly realize it is just NOT for them... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

This is the biggest bunch of bullshit I have ever read. Do you actualy know any REAL cop's? these are NOT the people you speak of. most police oficers I know are not the runts in school who got picked on, they are 200 plus pound muscled up guys who can kick some ass...and are not there to pick on you now due to you BREAKING the LAW. if you dont want to obey the law such as speed limits..go some where else, where there aren't such things as laws.... Did ya ever contact Icarus? you have no complaint if ya dont call them and talk to them. they have been nothing but good to me about my Safire issues. and I love my canopy now. My next canopy will be a Xfire2 and my GF's next canopy will probably end up being a Safire 2...if ya have a problem with them, ya gotta call them. this one is on your shoulders..NOT there's. it is impossible to manufacture a fabric wing and have it 100% perfect every single time. these things happen...Simon knows it..and he fixes it if ya let him know. The best way to learn is just to do...that's how I learned...borrowed a friends rig at the DZ I learned at...and just started packing and packing over and over and over again...with the helpfull eye of Mike meiyers watching over me...this was all at SD Sebastian...and it didn't cost me a cent...well maybe a couple of beers..but that's it Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

just wait...it's your best idea...glad your getting close to being done..but if ya bust your ears up...trust me when I say, the vertigo and feeling of a constant left turn is only fun for the first few minutes...then it totaly sucks!!!!!
