    unfortunately Sebazz there are things to be afraid of...you can die in this sport.....and you have to accept that. Amber, Be strong and get out that door. you will feel much better when your knee's are in the wind!!!!! BUT it is a great idea for you to sit down with the DZO and a JM. I'm confident that you know you want to be involved in this sport and all that you have is a heavy case of the door jitters. I'd suggest a tandem...get your ears wet so to speak(well dont let the tandem master spit on em that is)... be safe ok? marc

    I wasn't necesarily complaining just was wondering what the procedures are on this. Hook has always been an upstanding guy, always. and did a great job on my safire..so much that I now have a brand new canopy to me....I just want to say i really am greatfull to have a good rigger like this. there are some less than desirable ones around here...and hook definately is one of the better ones...     for the riggers out there and anyone else for that matter. I got my wings W18 repacked about two months ago. my pop top is now slanted to one side with me being able to fit my fingers(all 4 at once) under the pop top. there is PC material coming out. I doubt that the thing will deploy yada yada...but am mored worried about material wear on the PC and also a snag hazard on the pop top. by the way I take very good care of my rig keep it protected at all times and have not biffed in since the last pack job. also my previous three pack jobs on my wings all done my sunrise riggine did not have this issue. I have a DashM 218 in the container. any thoughts on what is the right thing to do? if you were a rigger would you repack it for the person, or is it one of those things that it was down when it left the riggers hands so now it's my issue? any other thoughts? marc

    My mom never talks about it and I really dont care what she thinks of it.....my Dad hated it at first although he never admited it. he does now think it looks like fun after he came out a day and watched us pack and hang out. he did agree that skydivers seem to be the best people in the world.

    So your a PD snob???? Well I'm an anti PD snob...so far I have yet to own a PD canopy.. PISA, Precision, and Icarus for me...and have no complaints about any of them other than my reserve issue with the DashM. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    1,001:4:2 1,001 ways I love my skychicky..she really does rock!!!! 4 great skydives. did my 200th to start the day off with a hybrid that just didn't quite get finished...then I pulled all the flat flyers on top of me...created quite the rodeo!!!!...then I did a couple of hop n pop's and a sweet freefly head down and pulled real high to enjoy the sound of canopy flight at altitude...GOTTA LOVE IT!!!!!! 2 cases owed....one for my 200th...and the other for the first time that I scared fallinwoman on landing. lets just say I flared a hair too late and skidded my knee's on the turf but was able to pop my happy fat ass right back up with my power safire!!!! GOD I LOVE THIS CANOPY!!!! Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    We did have fun at the DZ today..well I did at least...Anne just hung out in a no pressure setting. and decided the winds were not to her liking..or rather the LACK of winds were not to her liking...but my swoops were fun!!!!!

    Ya know when I first started dating Anne, i was never really nervous. we wouldn't be on the same loads all the time. as she's more of a flat person and I'm more of a vertical person...but the first time I started to worry was my last jump at Rantoul. she went to do a helicopter jump and I did a three way sit fly out of mullins. I had a very hard time concentrating on my jump for some reason(well untill I left the airplane then it was all good) but I'd be lying if I didn't say I was nervous untill I saw her walk up to me......very strange indeed. BUT now hopefully this weekend Anne will feel like jumping again and I am not nervous at all for her first jump in 9 months. she'll do great for sure. I'm her number 1 fan and can't wait to see her feel the air again!!!! Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
