seems all the sponsored jumpers of Mirage never have customer service issues...but my poor GF has had nothing but horrible service from them...but then again that was when Bill was there and they have probably improved since he left. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

Dbuys.com is a good place. many people around here have bought from them. they are high pressure but you get everything you should in the box. No grey market there. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

In a word... No.... considering most people just do the one tandem and never are seen again. now is it normal for a true skydiver...you bet it is!!!! at least that was my experience. to this day I still have no idea how people can only go on one skydive and never jump again...bizare Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

SCR10480, How is it that you can say a Hornet is a copy of a Sabre 2...when the hornet was being produced at least 2 years prior to the Sabre 2's release????? and it definately isn't a copy of an original sabre...as the hornet is lightly eliptical... I just dont get how a Hornet is a copy of anything.... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

The Xfire 2 was well under development when they had issues with the precision made Xfire 1's.....they were coming out with a new one any way. just happened at the time. call Simon at Icarus and he can inform you better... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

Flash... go talk to the Cowan brothers about this stuff...they will be able to tell you the same things we will tell you. ANY combination of container/canopy/skydiver can result in a malfunction. even a perfectly packed canopy will sometimes just not open correctly. it happens. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

you dont NEED a bridle extension...BUT...it will help to lower wear around the bridle/Dbag connection point on top of the canopy...that is why we use the extension. Psycho makes life MUCH easier. the hardest problem I encounter is people telling me I am going to have a malfunction doing it this way. well over 200 psycho packed jumps with ZERO mals. funny when they tell me I will have a line over psycho packing..then they have a cut away for a line over on a PRO pack. like Mike said...control the lines, keep them centered, and you are golden... I've been having the same problems on my mind warp for some time now...and am going to have to tack it in place now. we shall see if that helps. nothing like sitting under the tube and feeling your helmet levetate over you...not fun... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

I do not fall into your theory...as I started jumping march of 2001 and have made my last 100+ jumps with no AAD.....and will probably one day get one...but feel my currency will save me before my cypres ever will get the chance too. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

I have about 15 jumps on a sabre 2 and about 70 some jumps on a hornet. my hornet always opened fine....the sabre 2 on the other hand kicked my ass EVERY TIME!!!! I hated that canopy for that. I tryed everything to slow it down and nothing worked.....YMMV Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

I psycho pack everything I jump...it makes for a faster in the bag time...better openings(for me at least)...I love to freak out all the pro pack and side pack only people at Archway(one of my favorite parts)...and it is what I was taught as a student!!!!!! Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
