  1. Chris...are you talking Line dump or canopy/bag dump...I have free stowed often and that is true line dump...and still never have a hard opening...now if i didn't close those damn locking stowes..well that's a different animal.. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
  2. My chest strap on my original wings was too high for my taste. they put on an accuracy yoke. HUGE difference...it was lowered by over 2 inches and was much more comfortable that way. marc
  3. Thanks Hook...that's what I thought...shouldn't doubt my self...
  4. That is awesome...CONGRATS!!!!! life is grand at 14grand...
  5. No...it came with 500 from the factory after its line change...and then when hook did the mod on it he added the heavy duty steering lines... come to think of it..they might be 7-800 instead of 1000...let me ask him... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
  6. 500 cycles is what SSK said to me....so if you ride the plane up...and ride the plane down...that's a cycle.... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    Skyhook 5

Cirrus has a giant round that is litteraly blown out of the roof with explosives for this reason. there already has been a save with this too. it will keep everyone alive in the end...but it wont keep the plane in tact... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    Lasix?

Umm...Lasix is the stuff I give people to pull fluid off there lungs...LASIK is the thing where they melt your cornias away... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
  9. Gus...I have 500#vectran on the main lines and 1000# on the lower steering lines on my Icarus. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
  10. I have a 218 Reserve in my wings. it is made for a 148Xfire2 main...bigger is better...but it does make for problems if there are two out. I figured my chances were greater I would be low and under a reserve than in a two out situation especialy that i dont jump with any AAD. I always say bigger is better...but problem is finding a rig maker that will make the combo sizes you need. marc Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

  12. While I dont disagree with your saying it is not a safety issue. I do disagree on the "look cool" issue. I have mini risers not because I want to look cool. I have them because for me when i do front riser landings it is much easier for me to grasp type XVII that it is for me to grasp type VIII. it's as simple as that for me. 13. Skydekker was kind enough to put mine back in after it came out right before we were going to exit on a high speed C130 herc jump at WFFC...it has happened to me...not alot..but often enough. and trust me my rig is TIGHTTTTT.... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
  14. Anne and I will be there for our third year in a row!!! So add FallinWoman and Skymedic to the list Jim!!! Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
  15. Hey Dave, I live in the midwest so know all about jumping with gloves. I also wear gloves full time year round. I am now on my second wings. the freefly handle to me is EASIER to grab and throw out than a hackey ever has. granted I am always a little wierd about stuff like that, and have never ever liked the feel of a hackey. I prefered the plastic handles more than a hackey. my only beef about the FF handle is that sometimes it gets knocked out pretty easily. where as a hackey is always out and you dont have this worry. all in all I would not change my choice but it is something I think about for next time... 16. Kolla...the never ending tease you are.... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
  17. I hold onto my FreeFly tube on deployment...but I let go of any inflatables that are around... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
  18. There is a work around to this...burn the tracks to an audio cd...then rip them into your MP3 encoder...it works. apple doesnt want you to know that...but is does. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
  19. wrong......your gonna keep on STEALING songs..for free...and keeping the prices high for people like me that actualy buy there CD's and believe it is moraly wrong to steal. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
  20. The idea here is that lines wont snag the reserve container during deployment and possible rip the reserve container off...which has happened on other rigs without this mod and poor packing. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
  21. Uhhh...NO... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
  22. exactly!!!! I have personaly seen two of these while on a FL DZ. one popped while in the plane as we were going up....the other popped as the guy turned and tracked away....at 5,000feet!!! it does happen... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
  23. well I recently had my first cutaway. I have an RSL and I am an advocate of them. I pulled both my cutaway and silver...as even though I am an advocate of the RSL I also know that it is just a 2 dollar hunk of metal and fabric that may not work properly. funny thing is I pulled and lost my reserve handle even though I have an RSL... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
  24. of course you get beer Jason!!!! thanks a ton for that!!! i was not having fun that day and you helped out a lot. I love archway!!!! Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
