    My birdman pantz took almost 3months to get. they sent them twice both times they were wrong. first time they did not have proper reinforcing that i paid for and absolutely did not fit even though there person measured me at WFFC and I did not gain or lose any weight. second time they send them they still did not have the proper reinforcements on the knee's that i paid for. but at least they fit...problem was by the time they got here the snow was here and have yet to have a good oportunity to jump them. orderd them at WFFC and have yet to jump them....oh well. they did refund me my money at least. and they do look snazzy for sure...     Do ya ride bikes??? anyway...i have a 40 gig. was given a 20gig for Xmas...and am so glad that I upgraded. my 40 gig is now officialy full to the brim. over 12,000 songs of AAC encoded songs at 128kbps...Also my family and i have a new iMac. in a way you could call us a halo effect buyer. i started liking apples cause I was so enthralled with the iPod that we ended up buying the imac. now I have an airport express router that I wireless stream my tunes from my ipod through itunes/airtunes to my home stereo...I just dont have a need for a CD changer or CD's in general since my iPod and our iMac is here.     Got an enclosure for 20 bucks from comp usa. now the problem is mac os X says it is a file it can not read. so benefit is I can use it as an external HD but I can't get my info off of it. any suggestions before I wipe it and reformat it Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    This is great stuff. thanks guys. is there any way I can read windows documents on my mac without having to buy office which is way to expensive IMO. Thanks, Marc. Oh the airport issue i was having seems to stem from the wireless phone. was listening to airtunes when a phone call came in and bam...it went down had to restart it etc etc...and that was with robustness turned on. all in all i am very happy with it. I also added 512mg of RAM last night...that really has helped speed things up. thanks again guys... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    Ahhh...good idea. thanks Dave. OK....on the airport front. I switched it over to DHCP or whatever...and also adjusted the DSL settings. seems I have a constant ISP not a switchable one. got it working right now...problem is it keeps crapping out. it'll be connected to the internet for a little while then suddenly it wont. I go reset the airport express and run the assisstant again and it works as it is now. I dont get it... help!!! please...... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    Dude...that is KICK ASS!!! one problem I have is I lost all my pictures on my windows machine. as it just will not stay alive long enough for me to nab em. oh well. time to build em back up again I guess. ok...i'm gonna mess with the DSL stuff tommorow so expect a PM. my very own apple tech. kick ass!!...God I love this machine. Also we got the 17inch and at first i thought it was just not going to be that big. but man. i have so much desktop space i dont know what to do with it all. Then last night I made the mistake of opening up garage band....THAT is a cool program. heard alot about it...didn't believe the hype. but it really is neat. thanks for the tips about the AP express.     Well to make along story short. I had enough of our desktop winblows machine. So this morning Anne and I trudged over to the Apple Store and got our selves a shiney new iMac. it's purdy for sure and is packed with cool stuff. we got iLife 05 too. Garage band is soooo neat. anyway....it's been a good day. now if I can figure out my airport express wireless mumbo jumbo. My DSL connections works great if it is plugged into the back of puter. but just wont talk to the airport express even though I can see my imac is seeing it...but it keeps searching for some ipapp thing or something. I'm gonna give apple a jingle tommorow. GO APPLE!!!!!!!! Just wish we had tiger with the parental controls. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    Thank you thank you thank you. for all the replies. reason I didn't get cable is that our cable company requires us to get digital cable if we want cable internet. just something that Anne and I dont wan't. if we were able to get rid of our land line totaly we'd go with cable but since Lauren needs a phone at times we have what we have. Looks like the cable/DSL router is what I'm gonna get. they have a 4port DSL/cabel gateway router. what does the whole gateway thing mean? will this work for me. it's made by Belkin and costs like 40 bucks. http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=302193&pfp=BROWSE thanks again for all the advice....     I am installing DSL next week on my computer. My question is should I get a router for the hardware firewall aspect of it or just get ZoneAlarm or similar software firewall? It seems router's are cheap. About 30 bucks or so. what is the difference between a router and a switch? they also had a cable/DSL networking Bus? My eye's kinda glossed over. I will probably add another computer to share the DSL connection. can this be done if one is an XP computer and one is an Apple? thanks, Marc Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    So it's not the factory doing it, it's Chuting Star.?.?.? quote from Chuting Star's website. also from there website... What I dont understand is it's not the factory repacking it, it is Chuting Star repacking it. they charge 50.00 bucks for a repack according to there website. And it says on there web site they will do the mod for free if other rigging work is done. So if I send it to them for a regular repack they will do the SB for free plus 50 bucks for a repack. But if I send it to "Mirage"(which is Chuting Star) they will charge me 60 dollars. ummm..sorry but I'm a little confused. Same people, same address, two different prices. I find that a little odd. left hand not talking to the right hand????? Good thing is we are having ours done for free by our local master rigger so we don't have to deal with you guys.
