    There are containers made today that you can have a large reserve and sub 100 main in them. both wings and racer will make ANY combination you want. also mirage has a 143 or 160 reserve container with main container made for sub 100 mains... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    The contradiction comes when he pontificates about the "saftey" of using a spring loaded main pilot cute. If he wants to be safe he would also use large rings. That's all. I am not saying he is right or wrong to use a spring loaded pilot chute...as you said I am sure he is very sure he has made the right choice for himself. I just find it amusing that he took the small rings for one reason or another over larger rings if he wants to be "safe". Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    if you are colorblind it does not mean you can not see the light...just means you dont know if it is a red light...or a green light. I have had increasing difficulty with this as years go on. not a big deal, they just tend to blend some times with lighter shades of both colors. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    Yes there is a contradiction there. Sure he is using type 8 risers which are proven to be stronger. BUT he is using mini rings which have a mathmaticly proven lessened mechanical advantage due to smaller levers(rings). Bigger the ring the bigger the lever the bigger the mechanical advantage especialy for a bigger dude. that being said, I am a big guy...and use mini rings. but I am anal retentive about gear maintenance and cleaning.     The way it has been described to me is the RSl shackel when it is cut away still attached to the risers. that bridle bit hanging back can pose a small snag risk to your slider on your reserve. there for pulling your slider back up into the reserve and fowling it.     Conversations with riggers that have packed them up POST MOD said this is what they keep getting. I dont know if they have been able to fix this since, but they were working on figuring out how to best minimize the wrinkling. I guess this goes under the "with only minimal aesthetic cost" bit that is in the SB. I kind of figured this would happen when I read the SB. Hope it can be figured out. Not that aesthetics should even be worried about in this case but is something that people are concerned with. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    I agree....shower's totaly suck ass. so gross and nasty. I had to make my self shower. yuck!!!!!!. I did like the portable FF showers much more than those things we had this year. also that entrence was never watched and we saw many many many underage locals pouring in there. THAT is going to make Rantoul NOT fun, if local's crash our party. that will make me not want to come back and find another boogie to go chill out at for a week. or a week in Florida jumping.     The lovely FallinWoman and me,Skymedic, will be there for our honeymoon....arive monday skydive our asses off all the way till sunday. gotta love a woman that TOLD me we were going to honeymoon at Rantoulio. god I love that place!!!!!!!!     if it is too wide between your left and right riser it can actualy let the bottom of the canopy have too much air and cause faster inflation. now if you increase for and aft length that can cause slower inflation cause less square footage of the bottom of the canopy is exposed. get it???

    I'd take number three here...although Mr.Hallet did leave there so maybe not. It's broken not because of an increase in standards it's broken because of a lack engineering in the first place. They created this issue when they engineered the cutter placement in the first place.... We will now have to fork over 100bucks at least for the disassembly, shipping, "fix", reassembly and reserve repack. kinda crappy if ya ask me...but I wouldn't expect anything less from Mirage. they have repetitively proven to be a royal pain in the ass to us when we have issue's with Anne's rig. I am still frustrated with the whole Dash-m issue. Which both Anne and I have in our rigs. We continue to jump them and have had successfull rides on them. But that doesn't excuse the way it was handled. We wont buy a precision product because of the way they handled that for us. And in my opinion we will no longer support Mirage for this reason.     I had problems with one of my riser flaps coming open after owning my rig for about a year. henry custom sized me a new container for my massive reserve and smaller main...and then made the entire container with tye dye in less than 10days from when i sent him mine I had a new rig on my back....THAT is customer service...oh by the way...at absolutely no cost to me!!!!! Iwill never buy a different kind of container for as long as I skydive. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    I love my iPod...I'm actualy importing music to it right now. i got a 20gig for Xmas from Fallinwoman's mom(my future mother in law) and I traded it in for a 40gig version. love it love it love. I have over 25gigs of music on it now. something like 15days straight of music. all in my little hand. love my iPod. Anne thinks I'm a dork..but it's all good.

    a 50 meter by 25 meter muddy/grassy lot with power lines on three sides downwind under your purddy new stilleto....oh wait....that's me...and yes..I pulled it off just fine. even if I got a lil muddy in the mean time...that's what I get for jumping skydive arizona aircraft. never again will I get on one of there equipment there. there spots suck ass and then some. hosed me downwind three jumps in a row. fuckers. and the damn town folk wouldn't give me a ride back. WTF over...oh well..i wouldn't of done it eather considering the mud all over me. BUTTTT...I do really love it there...cause all my jumps out of the CASA and the PAC were awesome.!!!! and the helicopter for that matter...

    Trust me...we got that covered...Lew had some great connections with this fine cities largest brewer(well the countries largest brewer i guess) Lew had an impact on some pretty important people in this town. it's going to be a great time...although that sounds odd...I just think it will be.
