Thank you thank you thank you....it works. 32 bit card popped in..was recognized by XP PRO and next thing you know I was formatting my iPod. and now it is syncing up with my 8+ days worth of music....hehehehe I LOVE APPLE!!!!!!!!! now that I got the inlaw's to get me an iPod wonder what my chances are for a powerbook or iBook...hmmmm

So i got a spankin new 40gig Ipod just begging to get some use but I need to install this firewire card and it wont let me. I have a Dell Dimension L933R trying to install a ADS PCI64 firewire card. whenever I install the card the computer wont fire up at all...power source turns on but HD doesn't kick in at all. when i take the card out everything fires up perfectly fine. any idea's? or should I just give up....GRRRR so horrible to be teased by my Pod already. get the patch glue they sell at hot topic or similar stores. alot less hassle that way. I have seen this done with many patches on rigs. stands up well to the wind. and teenagers. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

my experience with my safire loaded at 1.6 was it had monster flare. and that was before I even had it worked on by derek. once I had the performance mod my opening issues were resolved and I then had way more flare than i really even needed. is is all about using the available toggle stroke. if you stop flaring before your hands are all the way down you lost alot of flare left in the stroke.

and usualy there is a maintainance issue related. i.e...broken risers due to over use. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

yes I do...well I did till my rigger forgot to hook it back up. I jump a ST150. I had a spinning line twists down to the risers pushing my head between them and down against my chest(makes for finding the handles easier) and cut away relaxed. this was a high G high speed malfunction and had zero line twists on deployment of my reserve. I had an RSL on at the time of deployment. oh..the why part, cause I believe you are just setting your self up for bad stuff to happen if you try to wait to be belly to earth when you should be wanting to be belly to relative wind upon reserve deployment...which is what will happen as you are shot out like a cannon from a spinner. well that was my feeling when I finaly cutaway from the thing. I lost almost 2000feet from time of deployment ttill time in the saddle and did it all in a VERY short amount of time. I had a very hard time getting my hands up to the handles due to the high G's.
