  1. that is not the largest transport aircraft, the Ukranian built the Antonov AN-225....I am a russian aviation buff...also gross take off weight on the thing is well over a 1,000,000 pounds. That is the largest airplane in the world. originaly designed to carry the USSR's version of the space shuttle, the Buran. Happens that they are now used to make money off of carrying LARGE objects around the world. imary Function: Cargo Contractor: Antonov Crew: Six Unit Cost: N/A Powerplant Six Lotarev turbofans D-18T engines at 51,590 lb (23,370 kg) each Dimensions Length: 275 feet, 7 in (84.0m) Wingspan: 290 feet (88.4m) Height: 59 feet, 5 in (18.2m) Weights Empty: 250,5 tons Maximum Takeoff: 1,322,750 lb (600,000kg) Performance Speed: 528 mph (850km/h) Ceiling: N/A Range: 8,310 nm (15,400km) -- with maximum fuel Armament N/A THAT's a big plane... by the way...I'm very jealous that you got to jump from the Antonov...that had to be an awesome blast!!! 2. Sad song?? I'll give you a sad song. One of my favorite artists of all time is Warren Zevon. He knew he had about a year to live due to a very aggressive cancer that was very terminal and chemo/radiation therapy would do no good for him other than prolong the misery. He got a bunch of his friends together (Jackson Brown, Bruce Springsteen, etc, etc.) and made his best album....it is a truely great album in so many way's. Well the last track on the album....makes me tear up everytime...just remember my since passed on friends and family...and also Warren...for giving me one truely great song. Warren Zevon - Keep Me In Your Heart....it is a truely great song. you have to hear it. I put it on a mix CD for Anne and she also has learned to love it...especialy with her father passing away this past december. it just fits in so many ways... I got a computer program that helped me learn. plus a couple of magazines I have found that worked out real good for me. just remember patience is a good thing when it comes to this...I got REALLY frustrated at first. but feel I am getting much better lately. especialy remembering chord shapes and such....good luck..and have fun!!!! 9. trust me...I wish we could buy a hybrid...that would be sweet. but problem is not too many used ones out there. seem's prius people love em a little too much. Also anne is thinking room for the pup's...errr future offspring of ours. She is set on the mom mobile...so this is what we have for now.
  10. Bill, is it a pre-august 2003 manufactured car? I've heard there is a huge difference in the reliability and mechanical issue's between august 2003 and before...and the ones that were manufactred september 2003 and later...something about mechanical issue's that had to be ironed out at the plant that makes them...blah blah blah...hard to read some of these pacifica forums out there at times but are seriously considering this purchase. 16. it's more to help with turning the canopy....gives extra pull to the rear making the larger canopies turn faster than if they just had the single brake lines. and no amount of brake lines is going to make a sabre 1 open better... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
  17. unfortunately for me he loses all respect if he had to cheat to get to that status of 4th in the tour. I thought that was an ungodly superfhuman feat at the time....little did I know...i was right. it was super human. so wrong. as far as supporting leads go...greg lemond didn't do much supporting...much to the chagrin of Hinault. well unless you count the 85 tour that Lemond was told to lose. and let Hinault win. sorry...not much respect for the typical french legend that Hinault was. Now i thought Andy hampsten had a shot...especialy after the 88 Giro...he looked unstopable. talk about superhuman on the Mountain stages in that race with both snow rain sleet and hail...BIG BALLS...but alas. he did a whole bunch of nothing.
