That's what happened last night....some chick came up there had no clue how to play after she said she did. then billy found some 18yr old kid who came up and nailed every chord and then some...it was fucking awesome. so after he was done he gave him his guitar. soooo fuckn cool. the drummer and the bassist that came up were both awesome too. it was fun. I take that back...that was my second scariest moment of my life...first scariest moment of my life was in june of 1994...I graduated paramedic school that day. But in the morning I had gone to the doctor to talk to him about some "test results"...no big deal I thought. Well....long story short...I walked out of his office with a note listing all the things I needed to do in the next few short months. one was make out a will. I was 20 yrs OLD!!! WTF...make funeral arangements...etc..etc..etc.. the fucker told me I had cancer of the lymph system...non hodgkins in nature. that I had less than 3 months to live and there was nothing any one could do. worst part was I was alone.....was only sorrta dating this girl....was not on good terms with my mom at all(hadn't talked to her in over a year)....and my Dad lived in St.Louis(I was near chicago) it sucked...I was scared to death!!! literaly. Good part is....i kept going to doctors till I got the answer that I wanted....and now...I am alive. and less than 80ish day's till i will be married. it is a beautifull thing!!!!! scariest moment for me was I was a relatively new Paramedic and had a gun placed at my temple after I walked into a suburban house in chicago's near western burbs. the guy proceeded to say if we walked any further he'd blow our fucking head's off. this is after he shot his wife. his wife was able to dial 911 and say she was "hurt" but nothing further....after we left he proceeded to baracade him self in for the next 72hours or so....then started to shoot at passing motorists. good thing it was a shot gun and by the time the shots reached the car's...it was going just fast enough to chip glass. the Copers then decided to raid the place and escort him to his maker sooner than later. all in all one scary scary day...well several day's..but I went home after the first 23 hrs of the stand off part. That was the coolest show I've see in a long time. they played for a good 2 and a half hours non stop...even the encore they came back in like 3-4 minutes. the whole "let's make a band right now" was kinda cool My Chemical Romance sucked ass....horrible sound and even worse the guy could not stop saying the F word....kinda made my daughter giggle at the amount of swearing. all in all my daughter and I loved it. Lauren was a bit overwhelmed with this being her FIRST ever concert. it was cool for sure!! Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

well simple plan and good charlotte are total pop punk geared straight for my daughter and her friends...green day is definately not geared so young, although they do seem to have a huge envelope of different ages who enjoy them. I am a huge fan of green day and was going to just go to the concert alone(i'm 31)...but then Lauren started to enjoy listening to them...so what the heck..I got her a ticket also. Supposedly green day is going to play some BIG venues soon...as in stadiums...just like U2 and The Dead used too. it'll be interesting. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

with my daughter being 11...I'm sure she hears that stuff at school. I'm not too concerned with it. It is what I kinda expect. I like MCR's stuff...and so does lauren. hopefully we will like it live also. It's just such a wierd feeling being the Dad going to a concert with my daughter...and with a band we BOTH like. My mom said i was crazy for thinking of taking her "precious granddaughter" to a (punk) rock show. I was like damn...i wish i had parents that took me when I was that age. I can't wait. good thing is I show all kinds of music to Lauren all the time...try to steer her away from bubble gum goo P(o)OP....so far she loves the killers and green day....oh and that good charlotte...but I'm not big fans of them. you eliminated our choice that we use....
