  1. The have for some time. They were when I was assigned to the area 1978 -- they are (well, were) now. Again, not as much as some, but more than others. It was a show of force. Notice how N. Korea now wants to talk? Before they said "attack us, I dare ya!" They are not saying that now. We can debate all day long on whether or not Iraq supports terror, I have still seen no evidence. I think if our gov't had some real evidence of it they'd give us at least a little inkling of it to shut yahoos like me up. But hey, what do I know? On the other hand, Kim Jung Il is hardly what one would call a rational actor... But wait, he really does have WMD and all that, why is it we didn't take action against him when he was saying "I dare ya!" I mean, this must have been a real challenge to "Bring 'em on" Bush. I'm sure he was just fuming mad. Donnie and Condi probably had fits calming him down. I can see it now, "No Georgie we can't invade them, you see, they actually have a military..." 2. Does Djibouti support terror? Wait, where did we get the idea Iraq was supporting terror? Never go to a DZ strip show.

  4. Hmm, Syria, Lebanon, Saudia Arabia, just to name a few... Go back and READ the post ... it read no better terror supporting state than Iraq TO DEMONSTRATE USA MILITARY POWER. Syria supports and NOW they are weary -- Lebanon has now said they will submit. Saudia Arabia as a state are too great an ally even though they have radicals within. BUT AGAIN, the post read Iraq was the best terror supporting state to "demonstrate our might" to these other countries. Oh, so what you meant was they were the weakest military for us to going beating the shiite out of? Never go to a DZ strip show.
  5. Hmm, makes me wonder if you even read anything out of Franken's one (five) books... Never go to a DZ strip show.

  9. Well you could at least go ahead and let us know what you think that reason is rather than just slamming the options of my poll. And you'll notice that my options are actually slanted toward valid although incorrect (in my opinion) reasons. Never go to a DZ strip show.
  10. This is exactly the kind of thinking that will lead our entire world to ruin.... and could easily be rewritten: The righteous will prevail and Allah Bless Al Qaeda. Never go to a DZ strip show.

  13. Is America the only country obssesed with stardom? Micheal goes all over the world and receives the same attention. Look at the British Fascination with the Royals. Your statement should read HUMAN obession because the way it is worded it makes it sound like we the American public are the only ones. And I think there are more people who could give a rip about stars than those numbers of obssesed fans, but, because we only see those that are obsessed on TV the image is such that we all are obsessed. Also these people are not coming out to support a child molester in their eyes. They belive he is innocent and will probably keep believing it after he gets setenced to 100 years without parole. Holy shite Sean, you've said something I completely agree with! Woohoo! Obsession with royalty has to be about the silliest thing ever. "OOOH OH OOOH, they were born with shitloads of MONEY and POWER, we must adore them!" Never go to a DZ strip show.
  14. If they are no-bid contracts to cronies, yes. Just like I criticize Democratic Mayor Daley for awarding no-bid contracts to his cronies in Chicago. Agreed, we all know that Halliburton has tons of experience drillling massives holes in things, but if they don't have to bid on contracts which are signed off on by their buddies, yeah, they're gonna draw some heat. 21. Seriously leaning towards getting my instructors rating ASAP. I think I just lost my job in cell phone sales.
  22. Let's get this clear, 9/11 did not change foreign policy. The guys who wanted to invade Iraq wanted to well before 9/11. 9/11 made it politically popular because we were all scared shitless and they made us even more scared by screaming WMD WMD, what if they give 'em to Osama?!?!? 23. No, we pay for the airplanes with our tax dollars and then drop cluster bombs out of them. They say sometimes these things don't completely detonate though, and that the remnants resemble toys... The US does not disguise their bombs as toys. We do not target civilians either. I agree we don't actively try to disguise our bombs, and we do not actively target civilians, but we surely consider a certain amount of civilian losses to be "acceptable". Now, I agree with this concept if we are bombing a country who say, bombed us. But Iraq didn't bomb us. And, considering that none of the reasons (WMD, ties to terrorism, etc.) which we were given the hard sell on to go to war there have turned up... Well, I guess it's clear that I just don't think this war was justified, and therefore none of the losses of their civilians (and defintely not our soldiers) are acceptable. 24. Being that it's pretty clear the above statements are opinions, it's pretty hard to call them lies. You may disagree with them, but it's not a lie per se, like, say, Saddam was attempting to purchase Uranium from Niger... Never go to a DZ strip show.
