  1. It's like Al Pacino's line in The Devil's Advocate about god being a sadist.... "look, but don't touch...." Never go to a DZ strip show.
  2. I'm very critical of the president. Not because he's Republican, believe it or not I have voted for a Republican before (once). What republican did you vote for? Fred Thompson Never go to a DZ strip show.
  3. Now even I don't agree with this, Bush tries to curtail way too many fun "evil" things to be the devil. Never go to a DZ strip show.
  4. cool, I'm very very proud of you Never go to a DZ strip show.
  5. Your suburban gets what, maybe 12 miles per gallon highway? You be doing better by the environment if you just used to cars for all that stuff. Never go to a DZ strip show.
  6. keeping the dialogue and ideas flowing is a way to insure that it never gets that bad again, that's how democracy works Never go to a DZ strip show.
  7. Last I checked, Clark's no longer running. But Al or Dennis, hell yeah I'd vote for them over Bush. Actually, Al is probably the most honest candidate there is. Never go to a DZ strip show.
  8. And we complain about it being to cold to jump now... man that would really suck, I hate cold weather. Never go to a DZ strip show.
  9. I'm very critical of the president. Not because he's Republican, believe it or not I have voted for a Republican before (once). I listen to what he has to say, and I disagree with just about all of it. I've listened to the democratic candidates and I know that all of them sound better than Bush (to me). Edwards is my top pick, though I would take any of them over Bush. Never go to a DZ strip show.
  10. Have you watched any of the democratic debates Rehm, really researched what any of them have to say. Or are you just sure they couldn't be better than Georgie? Never go to a DZ strip show.
  11. I think her point is that the resources we would put towards developing the oilfields in ANWR would be better spent in funding for researching alternative energy sources. ANWR isn't going to produce enough for us to be able to disengage with the middle east anyway. Never go to a DZ strip show.

If I want the crap beat out of me, I can always call my older brother, he was always happy to do it free of charge. If that fails, I'll join the military and they can pay me to get the crap beat out of me. Never go to a DZ strip show.

So you're saying they can't agree to beat the sh#t out of each other in the comfort of their own home, and that they should have to pay for that pleasure? Never go to a DZ strip show.
  14. When you are jumping a PD mega square feet it does not matter that much if you have 20 lbs of lead with you, at least not if you only weigh 100 lbs. Yes, lead is a last resort, dressing for sucess is the good option. Finding the right instructor for the student is a better option. But surely you cannot compromise saftey just for the sake of a weight vest/belt. Again, I am not an AFF instructor, this is just my intuition speaking. Yeah, I guess in the context of this thread you have a point. I was thinking of my own experiences, my bad. Never go to a DZ strip show.
  15. I think in most cases they could find instructors who could match the student's fall rate. I don't think wearing lead would be an issue in freefall but I wouldn't want to land with lead at my experience level. I personally fall pretty slow and my JMs have kept up (slowed down) to fall with me. Never go to a DZ strip show.
  16. the girl i work with said she used to work at this amish restaurant in college. said they reused almost all the scraps from people's food... mostly into soups and such. when she found out, she quit. said that the health board doesn't monitor them cause it's amish. NO IDEA if she is telling the truth, but nevertheless... YUCK! Yeah that's very bad, sick even. I would figure the Amish would have some kind of moral objection to this, but what do I know. 17. Well, I haven't seen spitting, but, if you've eaten out much at all you can just about guarantee that something you have eaten has contacted high volume kitchen floor. And what kind of reusing are you referring to, bread from another customer's plate? That's just wrong. Never go to a DZ strip show.
  18. I think it would be cheaper to move closer to a DZ with climate controlled packing area Never go to a DZ strip show.
  19. Vote democrat last election? Shew, I was worried there for a minute. Everyone relax and go about your business, Apocalyptic false alarm. Never go to a DZ strip show.
  20. Any horsemen around? Never go to a DZ strip show.
  21. This, from the guy who posts 20 threads in a day like "Tuna's Amazing Puzzle #5"? Give me a break! Holy hell, the world's coming to an end, if you take away that ANWR thing Kennedy said, I completely agree with the last two posts. Rapture, Armaggedon, what have you!! Never go to a DZ strip show.
  22. Boy, that's digging deep. The Greensheet is a local advertising/exchange paper; they do garage sales, cars for sale, merchandise, the like. It's free, and the commentary is what they can get given their obviously extravagant budget. I like the Weekly World News myself . I found out about them in Men In Black Wendy W. Thanks for the info Wendy, I was wondering if I should feel dumb for not having a clue what "The Green Sheet" was. Never go to a DZ strip show.
  23. Oh, that explains it Seriously though, was this a large paper that published this? I mean, for or against you'd think they could find a letter with a little more thought put into it. Never go to a DZ strip show.
  24. Well, depending on the altitude you jump from you've got between 45 seconds to a minute of freefall. Trust me this is plenty of time. Your JMs will be with you, out the door you may experience sensory overload but the next thing you know you'll just be flying. Stay altitude aware and relax. It's gravy. Never go to a DZ strip show.
  25. I just can't believe the paper published such drivel, where do you live anyway? Do they have nothing better to do than print this man's rather limited understanding of world affairs? Never go to a DZ strip show.
