I'm also just finished with AFF and personally, canopy flight is one of my favorite things about this sport. You open high enough so that you have plenty of time to play around and get a feel for the canopy before entering your landing pattern. Just relax and have fun. Never go to a DZ strip show.

Ok, so we're not in disagreement there. Still, though, rich or poor is not a lifetime measure. I may someday, make shitloads of money (probably not since I want to be a professional skydiver) but currently, I'm poor.

It's easier to get rich young with looks and/or athletic talent. It's not difficult to get rich over a period of years if you're smart. I think anyone, smart or dumb, beautiful or ugly, athletic or klutz, can make a pile of money if they want it bad enough. I totally agree Never go to a DZ strip show.

How many 18 yr olds, 20 yr olds 25 yr olds, do you know of, that have millions of dollars, that they weren't given by their parents? How many of these that are left got the money as a product of their intelligence. Yeah, there were a few during the dotcom boom, but in general it takes years, decades even to move up in just about anything. You could be the best financial analyst ever, you're still gonna start out working as an assistant to some dude who's been there 10 years. Never go to a DZ strip show.

Kinda good point, but this assumes that the one studying for 8 years could simply choose to throw the ball through the hoop. Of course, he could go to school for 7 years, be lawyer and be the 18 yr old's agent. I was just pointing out that given our priorities it's a lot easier to get rich if you are born with ludicrously good looks or a high percentage of fast twitch muscles than it is being born with a high functioning brain. I'm not saying they will, I'm saying it doesn't matter. I'm saying that deficit spending is bad. I'm saying that tax policy is an ineffective way to influence the economy. I happen to live in a state where they have increased taxes (we only have sales) and still we are falling short at the state level. Much of this is because of federal mandates which are unfunded. I do however take exception to this: You're really asking this in a society where we pay more money to 18 year olds who can throw a ball through a hoop than we do to people who study for 8+ years in order to save the lives of others (doctors)? First off, why are you sorry about the spelling? You got it right. Secondly, Kallend may not be one but George and his economic advisers obviously are. However, they have a gross misinterpretation of the Keynesian theory. Everyone who knows Keynesian knows that tax policy is the least effective means by which to influence the economy. The truth of the matter is, the tax cuts weren't put in place to stimulate the economy, they were put in place to reward his rich buddies and make him more politically popular. The notion that the tax cuts would act as a stimulus was an afterthought to divert people's attention from the fact that said tax cuts had reversed the surpluses and sent the nation spiralling back into deficit spending. I've never jumped the safire2 but my couple jumps on a spectre have been soft as i can imagine, hardly even noticed them except for looking up and seeing a canopy above my head Never go to a DZ strip show.

actually no it's not... just an't consume them on the plane unless you bought them on the plane..... i've carried back several bottles of wine and eer from germany before.....hehehe i could of got busted though, i was 19 at the time...lol.... Damn Wingnut...now the Turtle's gonna expect beer...sheesh... Just FYI: if I jump, then I was going to buy it there, ladies and gents. My freakin' luck I could see beer spewing all over my carry-on and causing an 'incident'.

I think it was fairly inaccurate implying that allowing one's significant other to pack was some huge issue of trust. People use packers who have less ties to them every single day. Never go to a DZ strip show.

OK, I'll admit that I don't know for a fact and that I only surmise that it would be better to live under the roof of two gay people who actually want me around than to be a ward of the state supported by millions of people who are pissed off that they have to pay for my life. I'll completely admit that if I had the money to be a "metrosexual" I so would. Come on, metrosexual is basically the same as being "GQ". I don't think this is really much of a concern considering that we have couples going to China, Russia, wherever so that they can get a "baby". Children who have aged to some extent have so much less value to them, what the hell do I care if to "gay" people take the leftovers. I guarantee you it's a hell of a lot better than state care. And it's not like we're all of a sudden gonna have a problem of not enough people procreating. Never go to a DZ strip show.
