So, it sounds like you think that the government should be God? Well in that case it should be able to do whatever the hell it wants. That's bad, MMKayyyyyyyyy. I think it's time for Michele's obtuscity [sic] police to come out. Gimme a break man. Government is not god, to those without a belief in god it may however be the utmost authority aside from self. You, apparently would prefer that government be based on god. My point is that this is bad even for those that believe in and worship whatever god they may. Never go to a DZ strip show.

You've lost me here Benny. When did I post anything about the 10 commandments? That was a specific response to turtlespeed and a general response to any government involvement in religious (or moral) issues. My point is that, particularly considering the widely varying opinions within the majority religion in the US, gov't involvement is bad for those who would or would not prefer that government and not god be the utmost authority. The libs don't want morality to get in the way. They want the government to be the highest authority, not God. Rick, what's between you and your god is just that. Same for me and my god. When the government tells me who my god should be and what said god would have me do, that brings alot of people who I'm sure you don't want getting between you and your god into the picture. When did they ever specifically say to you which God you should worship, if any at all? Well, posting the ten commandments, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me"... I'm sure that isn't referring to Vishnu. Never go to a DZ strip show.

The answer to the question you asked varies widely depending on whom you're speaking to, what DZ they're at, etc. Personally I'm already jumping 1:1 at 8 total jumps (3 at 1:1), my JMs put me on the canopy, they don't think I'll kill myself with it, others disagree. Never go to a DZ strip show.

I think that makws his point more valid... I think if he really wanted to make the point, he would turn that scholarship back in because it is based on race and apply for a merit only scholarship. THAT would be a strong statement. This sounds like more of a publicity stunt. Jump I agree completely, if he thinks it's that wrong to do, he should obviously be turning that scholarship down, otherwise he's just a sell-out. Never go to a DZ strip show.

Hmm, Cal tech? Michigan? Berkeley? UNC? Duke? Stanford? Washington? Northwestern? Chicago? Personally, those are all non-Ivy, some state funded schools that I would think beat just about any of Canada's schools hands down. Never go to a DZ strip show.

Actually, they were talking about it on "Reliable Sources" yesterday and said the reason they haven't been talking about it (it actually has been in a few media outlets) is that to this point it's completely unsubstantiated. And it may have been a dream but I could have sworn I heard somewhere last night that it had been found to be a complete and total sham. Never go to a DZ strip show.

What a ridiculous statement! Much as I usually disagree with the political viewpoints of both Benny and Kallend, I would jump with either of them any day. They are not "trolls", by the way, and they both have enough integrity not to type things here they wouldn't say right to your face.
