WELCOME JOHN! -
sorry guys it was LATE LATE LATE for me last night! What I MEANT to say was if there is less than 99% Uptime.. or more than 1% of time is spent down, then DUMP IT!!
-
It only costs a couple hundred bucks a year MAXIMUM to pay for "paid inclusion" into the major Search Engines.. that hardly seems outrageous to me.. but when your on a tight budget I can understand the feeling. There are several factors that go into the entire process, for instance: (free lesson for anyone reading) Make sure your website is on a reliable server.. if there is more than 99% downtime, DUMP IT ALSO make sure your IP address, the server your on is NOT sitting on the same server as other "NOT QUALITY" websites.. as a spider won't visit that server anymore if it doesn't like what it finds. In other words, only trust reputable hosts who are willing to verify the integrity of the rest of the server to you. By the same token, when choosing a host provider, ask how often the spiders already visit the server, ones that have frequent visits create a better chance for you to be seen sooner. Make sure there are no broken links in your site, and make sure all of the pages load correctly. Optimizing your page is as simple as sticking to the point. Decide a theme for each page and don't vary. Go back through your text, remove all of the "the, and, or, is, was, of" words as you can.. this applies to saturation.. you want less of the words that have nothing to do with your biz, and more of the keywords you want. Do NOT include links that GO OUT of your site in the first page... refrain from this whenever possible. Word style plays a part.. certain heading styles on keywords in your page will help draw spiders to those keywords you want to focus on. The worst thing you could do is try to cheat.. never simply repeat words, always create content based on your keywords.. never have images without image tags if placement is important to you use keywords in image file names whenever possible Content is the key... add information as often as possible... say at least once every 2 weeks.. a page, an image or two.. something to continue the growth of your site... A search engine spider works logically, if your site is changing, is of content people are looking for, works well, focuses on the topic at hand and is following the rules.. then you will do well. Of course, that's just a quick overview from a paid professional's opinion.. The situation has changed alot in the last few years, and paid inclusion has pretty much taken over. Its relatively inexpensive to do and is much better than the game that SEO used to be. It's now a matter of wether or not the market is saturated in your area and if it is then it's a matter of having a quality website.. just as it should be in my opinion! oh, and as you can see by the link previously posted.. Meta Tag Keywords have been abused so much that they are hardly looked at anymore. While important to have.. they aren't as useful as some would still hope. Dam spammers gotta ruin it for everyone!!!! Happy to help, hope I did. Pink Suits, Blue Skies & Fast Tunnels, Dawn Suiter

Thanks Paige, your sweet! I THOUGHT perhaps it was you who ordered that stuff.. how many tunnel rat "paige"s are there?!?!? Rantoul.. for sure.. we'll have Adren-L-N back again, so far anyway.. so if you guys come early we'll take to some time and head on over to the new tunnel! We always have to head up to the WFFC a couple of days early to setup.. so keep that in mind.. if you get there early with us.. well, you might just have to help us fill all that empty tunnel time before the skydivers get there!!!!! oh and BTW Tunnel Junkie shirts being released VERY SOON!!! WELCOME HEIDI -
I wrote this SOME time ago... I feel exactly the same.. and I can think of no better way to describe WHY I spend my life working with tunnels. It's also nice to have a hobby that won't kill ya.. and it's great that our entire family (including our 10 y/o) enjoys flying together. Taming the Dream by Dawn Suiter I used to have these dreams when I was young about being able to soar in the sky like a bird, of course inevitably even in my dreams I always had to come back down. Some friends have mentioned over the years that controlling your dreams is a matter of having a waking dream, a concept I never have mastered. Instead, I made my dreams a reality and joined the rest of the enlightened world and learned how to fly! I am a wind tunnel flyer AND a skydiver and I can SOAR now, not in a waking dream but in my life, in my reality. History shows us that this great mystery of man and his ability to rise above life's challenges and conquer, is simply the way we are. Defiance is sometimes mistaken for determination, and above all else as individuals, we are determined. Determined to succeed in my life, I found myself thinking of those who dreamed before me; Aristotle, Da Vinci, Prandtl, the Wright Brothers. These people knew that a dream could be a reality if only there was enough determination, and what they have ALL proved in their passing is that yes, we as human beings CAN realize our dreams no matter how outlandish they seem, and that only a little self determination and empowerment can equal limitless possibilities. So what is my dream now? Well, I unlike my afore mentioned counterparts am not a great painter, engineer or aerodynamicist, I am simply me. The me I choose to be, and no one, no matter how hard they try, could ever fill my shoes. I spread my arms wide and embrace the wind, my confidant and my vice because without it there would be no dream. Mother Nature is the inventor and I am simply the connoisseur of her great creation. Therefore it is not really a dream but something completely attainable to anyone human with the desire and determination to get it, and achieve it. Like the great bird of prey I manipulate wind gusts and cloud ceilings from time to time, while my aerial view stretches for miles and I consume the beauty, and the passion that belongs only to me in this minute of my life. Memories last forever, but experiences change your life. I am someone new, as if my rebirth came when I learned how to stretch my wings and let go. To let go of tangible things, like parachutes and suspension cables, airplanes and drop zones, is to realize that in a wind tunnel, YOU chose your landing area and come down when you want. In flight the problems of yesterday are gone; absent from your mind. Release from endless boundaries and restrictions used to facilitate cohabitation and goodwill among men. Relentless stresses of career, family and personal achievement simply melt away when I stretch out and submit to my dreams. Inner peace comes with brutal self honesty and the satisfaction in knowing that you are the best that you can be. Pink Suits, Blue Skies & Fast Air, Dawn Suiter

can't speak for anyone else.. but I've never jumped with anyone whos fall rate I couldn't match... been with some light as a feather and others as heavy as standard gear will fit.. no problem... the BIGGER questions.. is WHY are you in such a hurry??? I mean, it's already short enough as it is! If I can make the freefall last longer, I'm THRILLED!! Perhaps you could learn to fall slower? -

This is a normal, if not expected, approach to this situation. The situation being, having a variety of like facilities, all requiring the same training of their instructors. This would mostly be an answer for the insurance companies, who would not generally like the idea of strangers walking in off the street and teaching a class. This is why a "employee/instructor" is almost always around in a such a situation where an outside coach is with students. Liability is a b#$%h. As an organization for SkyVenture instructors to train & cross train at other SkyVenture facilities, it seems like a great program. We do something very similar with our own circuit of open air tunnels & portables, in that once we have released you to instruct you can go to a variety of tunnels that accept our training program. It doesn't work well as an INDUSTRY WIDE program since the training requirements are so different for the different tunnels. We could not allow a SkyVenture Certified at any level instructor just take students into an open air or propeller environment without training, and vice versa. Fortunatly, in most cases we cross train whenever possible to keep up. Diversity is key to our belief in a solid coach.

Your cute! When we refer to "the cone" we are speaking of the profile of the jet.. having a cone would be interpreted to mean that the profile is not uniform and that it is faster in the middle than on the edges... since I knew Ft. Bragg to be basically a uniform profile, I was confused...
-
Definitely dont get wet in Zurich...
-
what do you mean by that..?
