Is anyone afraid to fly? Or never flew commercially?
jumpinfarmer replied to Brian425's topic in The Bonfire
187 jumps and no landings yet I hope to keep it that way as well. I guess I'm just one of thouse Hill-billys that was mentioned before. -
It's a Chevy right? You can count on the fuel pump going almost every 60K miles. That seems to be what mine does at least.

I often find myself singing that song to myself while I'm out on a tractor working. Especially on hot days while baling hay. I have seen most of the movie but for some reason it doesn't answer the questions the song leaves for me at least. What it does do it speak of a time and a way of life that has almost totally disappeared. That of a family eating dinner at noon and working side by side farming in a small community.

If your at FT drum this winter you might be better suited to get a snowmobile. They also have about 400" of snow a year there as well.

The last time I had a cold I used Musinex (sp) and it worked mint. In just a few hours I could tell the difference. -
Have you ever paid cash for a brand new car?
jumpinfarmer replied to jumpjunkie2004's topic in The Bonfire
Well you are right that payment suck but sometimes they are actually cheaper in the long run. With vehicals they don't seem to increase in price as much as some other things but often if you wait you will pay more for the item purchased at a later date than you would have if you bought it when you wanted and made payments. I hope this makes sense. I have a hard time explaining things sometimes. -
I for one hope it doesn't go away because I want to get out there someday.
