    If the USPA falls there will never be another legal skydive in the US. They are the only voice we have that fights for the rights of skydivers and every thing involved with them. I can't believe how naive some people can be as to not be able to see this.

    The reason I think schools need to be funded by an income tax is so people like myself that own a large amount of real estate but have a rather modest income don't have to bare the burden while people with a high income that own just a small home or rent pay hardly any. This also goes for older people who now are on a fixed income and have a hard time staying in there home because of the school tax. An income tax would make these situations much more fare.

    I think that schools should be funded by an income tax and divided up on a per pupil basis. That would totally level the field and make the tax system much more fair.

    If I walk it takes just a little over two minutes. If I drive it actually takes longer, maybe three minutes. This is because of the time to start the truck and then get in and out. I only go 400ft accrost the road. It sounds dumb but I normally do drive so I don't have to walk back to the house when I need to go somewhere.

    I have bought $878.98 worth of oil so far this year. I think that will keep me untill summer though now. I only keep the house at 55 most of the time. It is damn cold when you get out of the shower.Brrrrr! By next fall I intend to have a corn burning stove hooked up so I can burn the corn I grow and not have to spend so much on oil, while still being able to be warm.

    I'm taking this in another direction. I don't like any increase in prices however, I don't complain about postage much because I still think is a bargain that I can put an envelope in my mailbox and send it anywhere in the US for just pennies and have it reach there almost always, in a very few days. At the same time I recieve mail six days a week and only have to walk to the end of the driveway to get it.

    Another thing that just popped in my mind. I was in 1st grade it was spring and the school playground was next to a field my uncle farmed. He was out spreading manure with his brand new spreader and all the kids were grossed out by the smell. I was used to it Anyway I had been there a day or two before when my uncle was telling my grandpa how that son of a bitch would really throw shit, describing the new spreader. I being only six or so hadn't really learned the meaning of bad words yet. Hell they were common at home. I walked up to Mrs. Pullen my teacher and said that son of a bitch really throws shit don't it. She was mortified I don't think I ever got in any trouble but I was schooled on what not to say at school after that.

    I don't remember just what I had done but it must have been bad. On a hot summer Sunday afternoon I remember being picked up by the back of my shirt and pants and thrown out the back door like you would throw water from a pail. I remember landing in the dry grass and just laying there for a long time.

    As someone already mentioned don't complain about service at a big corp. after you have passed up doing business with the little guy to save money. Most Americans are very shallow and don't care about anything but saving a buck until it's to late.Then they wonder why all the small businesses are gone. Now we are starting to loose the bigger companies here because we as a society want cheap over seas goods.

    Coyotes are attracted to horse pastures because they eat the horse shit. The only efective way to get rid of them is to shoot them. Coyotes have a very large range so they probably won't be back for a few days. They are known to travel as much as 75 miles in in just a couple days.

    Well at least I'm not alone. We had a great corn crop but with the price of fuel and fertilizer for next year turning a profit doesn't look promising in 06.
