I guess if you open the fridge at the same time as the freezer then the light from the fridge will shine into the freezer. Or maybe the people who made the freezer figures that you wouldn't be getting anything out of the freezer that you would need in the middle of the night. I'm so funny I crack my head open! No unfortunately I have yet to be on a load w/Scotty yet... I was on a load w/tami doing a coach jump... but it was one of my AFFs so I was preoccupied w/one of the JMs. You should definitely make a jump with them whenever you can. I can see them doing that... of course I could imangine them do a lot of strange things... as wells as several others typically on our jump runs... On my first solo jump, the guy behind me on the plane told me to scream "HEY ASSHOLE!" really loud towards the back of the plane. I thought he was messing with me or something but I did it anyway. Scotty and Tami Carbone were sitting on the floor and they screamed "WHAT?" It was the funniest thing to me and I definitely got the jitters out of my system for my first solo. Y'all should check kelly out if you're ever on the jump plane with her. It's a pretty funny sight to behold! I've never seen a skydiver so freaked out on the plane ride up before. Yup I've never landed in a plane before! I'm way too freakin scared to land in it! I have to jump out! It's funny because I have been in five different planes now, but have never landed any of them. The first time I was in a plane was my first tandem and I jumped out of a King Air. It was so funny because the one thing I kept thinking on the way up was how the cars all looked like matchbox cars. I was so fixiated on it especially while I was under canopy. I'm kept telling my TM "look at how small everything is!" I'm such a dork. I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102

Nate was such an incredible person. I only knew him a few short months, but during that time he taught me a lot of things about skydiving and how to be a nice person. He was one of the first people to come up and welcome me to ASC. I always got a hug and a hello from him everytime I came to the dz. I was on the plane with him on Wednesday and he asked where I had been at. I had missed a weekend and I didn't think anybody noticed, but he did. He cared. I remember that everytime he was on the same load as me he always said "Have a good jump" with that big smile he had. I'm sure he said that to everybody, but it still made me feel good anyway. I got to jump with him and TJ one time and I thought it was the coolest thing. I will always cherish that jump I got to make with him. Now he will be with all of us in the sky. Nate was a great skydiver and more importantly, he was an awesome person. God has gained an angel. A little piece of Nate is in us all. He will always be with us to say "Have a good jump" and then fly alongside us. Blue skies, Nate. Fly free. We love you. I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102

:0:0 I finally got me some! Yea! I had to work overnight on Saturday night and I didn't feel much like jumping. Just way too sleepy to drive that far and back. I will be out there this weekend for Nate's memorial. I don't care when I'm working. I will be there. I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102

I still do the "enter the pattern at 1000 feet" concept. I do normally come in a bit high, but I'm used to just doing S turns to eat up some altitude. But I also tend to hug the landing area. I'm guessing it all depends on where you set up your playground and how the winds are that day. I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102

2 hours:4:1 case bought but not owed (I'm sure it's owed from before but whatever) 2 hours spent laying on the floor of the dz drunk staring at a spinning pinwheel. I thought I was only down there for five minutes until I was informed today that it was 2 hours. I did 2 solos which were pretty much the two most boring skydives I've made. I did absolutely nothing but just fall. Can't say I didn't like it though. I always love to jump, but I should have thought about what I was doing before I went up. Did a 4-way. Pretty awesome skydive. I flew belly while 3 guys were in full sits and still couldn't stay with me. Did a 2-way with a guy who stayed with me doing head down. Yeah that was awesome. That was my 50th jump too. WOOHOO! I got discouraged after the solos, but the last two jumps brightened my spirits and i'm feeling great! I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102

Thanks Kel! Before I even realized I stood up, I heard Tami across the landing area screaming for me. There was a whole bunch of clapping coming from the deck too. I walked back in with the biggest smile on my face that didn't go away for the rest of the night. It was great! And I paid my beer! I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102

I have been to Toccoa Falls and I thought they were absolutely gorgeous. I went to summer camp for a couple of years at Camp Toccoa with my church and we always hiked down the road to see the falls. I have a few pics of me in front of them but I can't find them right now. I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102

I got a video with my tandem at asc. They did an awesome job with it. I get to see myself skydiving for the first time over and over again. I don't care what music is on it. Did you tell them that's how you wanted your music? Just be happy that they let you pick music at all. Some places don't do that. Oh and Johan is a cool guy. I didn't do my tandem with him but I did have a couple AFF jumps with him. But I don't think I would have wanted him to touch my forehead in the door on AFF though. LOL! Well ACTUALLY Tami.... after having experience with a FORMER SO who wanted to do the whole agrarian bliss thing ( that one is long gone)... goats are ruminants.. they will eat just about ANY other plant... your apple trees.. even the bark... blackberries.. rose bushes.. any flower in your garden.. any plant in your garden before the GAWD DAYUM things will eat grass Now Sheep on the other hand relish the stuff and will not touch the plants we cherish so much.
