I've actually done a couple of big cross-stitch projects, but I usually get really frustrated when I mess up. I'll see what I can do to get that done for you. I'm not much of a crafty person, but legos sounds fun! And if you ever catch me knitting, it's because I have gone crazy from the boredom. My mom is trying to get me to cross-stitch, but I'm too impatient. Good idea about the scrapbooking stuff though. She bought me a whole of bunch stuff for Christmas a couple of years ago that I never used. Maybe I can actually do something with the billions of pictures I have. No I don't. The only thing I remember is candy cigarettes. The only place they had them was the gas station across the street from my neighborhood that the neighborhood kids and I would always walk to. My mom would never give me money for them. I love watching the olympics. I don't care much for the running stuff, but I like the swimming and gymnastics the best. I usually am glued to the tv while the guys gymnastics is going on. Alright you guys.......I need some help. As many of you know, I broke my ankle/leg a couple of weeks ago after a bad......no wait........a great landing. (My second ever stand up landing! ) Now I'm grounded from walking, working, skydiving, and pretty anything that involves my leg hanging down for more than five minutes. So my question for you guys is.........do you have any suggestions to keep me entertained while I'm down and out? I can't postwhore too much cuz I can't sit at the computer for long periods of time. I've watched about 20 movies in the past 2 weeks and even though I love movies, I'm getting a little tired of them. I've read 4 books and my eyes are getting a little tired. I'm so bored. I fell asleep during the first 5 minutes of it. I have a hard time staying awake in movies that don't automatically grab my attention and that movie did not automatically grab my attention. I wanna jump! Damn this broken leg! I would come and just hang out, but it still hurts a little too much for it not to be elevated for any length of time. Once I'm a little more mobile I'll definitely be out there to see everybody. I can't wait to jump again! I'm so jealous of you guys! I can't believe I'm missing out on 12.50 jumps! ARGH! Thank you everyone so much for the vibes! I decided to take matters into my hands and I hobbled down the hallway to my computer. I couldn't stand laying in that recliner one more second! I had to get here to post whore! It took some work to get myself in my room, but I finally made it and I'm not moving! Thank you so much for all the love and prayers! I have definitely felt them these past few days. It's funny that I hurt myself because I had my second ever stand-up landing. LOL! I just looked down and saw my foot was faced the wrong way and knew something was wrong and I sat down. I didn't feel it at all. It was really weird. Apparently, I had a cut a nerve and that's why I couldn't feel anything. Anyways, I broke my fibula right above my ankle. That was a nice clean break. And I broke my tibia at the base of my ankle and that got all shattered into pieces, so I had to have a couple of surgeries to fix that. I can't put any weight on it for six weeks and then I don't know the prognosis after that. I'll definitely get out to the dropzone once I'm a little more mobile. Now I can save money to go to Rantoul next year! WOOHOO! Thanks again everybody for the vibes and the calls! You guys rock! I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102

I'm an otter baby, but I did my last 2 levels of AFF out of the Cessna 205. I ended up just falling out of the door, which is a good thing since the last 2 levels of AFF are unstable exits. It was fun and all, but not something I would want to experience everytime I go to the dz. If it's the only thing running, I'll jump it. But otherwise I can live without it. It was great to meet you Mel! Thanks for the shot! It was amazing how much love was in the air at ASC this weekend. You could just feel it all around. The love for Nate, as well as our entire skydiving family was amazing. I'm happy to be a part of such a great family. My sky birthday is September 27, 2003. Did my first tandem that day. But my logbook only starts at my second tandem which was April 2, 2004. After the first 5 seconds, I passed everyone and never saw them again. I landed after everyone else too and they got to witness my 30 foot trick turf surf. Yeah I meant to do that. I also jumped my first pack job on Friday! WOO WOO! I had one little line twist, but opened just as soft as can be.
