I used to say "I'm POST to do something tonight." instead of SUPPOSED. My dad used to yell at me for that but I would never understand what he was talking about. I also remember walking through the woods with my sister and she would throw a stick into the trees and I would freak out and be like "What was that?" She would tell me it was the boogie man. I would go home and look in the encyclopedia to find out what the boogie man looked like. Yeah I was a weird kid. I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102 -
There are these wonderful things called student loans. Gotta love them......... Plus I got lucky cuz my mom won a lawsuit and she gave me 1000 dollars to spend on anything I wanted. I made a tandem back last September and because of scheduling and financial conflicts I haven't been able to start AFF like I wanted to. Well this Friday I'm finally going to be able to get back in the sky. I have the day off (which never happens) so I decided to do one more tandem before starting AFF. I'm sooo excited! I'll be able to start AFF in May when my school's semester ends. I just figured that it would be a good idea to do one more tandem before jumping into AFF since I can't remember the freefall sensation too well. I'm a little nervous about starting AFF though. I'm scared of being in control of the canopy and such. I'm not scared of the actual falling as I am of landing my own parachute. Did anybody feel this way when they started AFF? 1. Besides skydiving, I have never ridden in a plane. So that means, yup, I've never landed in one. 2. My mother couldn't have children so she adopted two children when she was 28 and 34. Then she somehow became pregnant and had me when she was 42. I was the "miracle" baby. My mom had a partial hysterectomy for goodness sakes. I have no idea how in the world she got pregnant with me.
