I did a tandem back in September and because of various reason I haven't been able to get back in the sky. I was wanting to just jump straight into AFF when summer gets here, but I think I've decided to make another tandem before I started AFF. Have you ever been looking for a song before, but you couldn't remember the name of it or who sings it? I've had that problem for the past 2 weeks trying to find this one song! I finally found it tonight! All I could remember was that I had heard it when I made my first skydive. I heard it going to the dropzone, while I was at the dropzone and on the way home. I've heard it several times on the radio and I would instantly go back to thinking about skydiving. I love that song just because of the connection with it and skydiving. This is what I was doing... 9/11: I was a senior in high school and I was walking from my first period class to my second period class when I saw my drama teacher running down the hallway screaming that "The towers have been hit! The towers have been hit!" Everybody in the hallway was just laughing at her cuz no one knew what in the world she was talking about. Then I made it to my Anatomy class and walked in and saw half my class sitting there not talking and had their eyes glued on the television set. Then i found out what happened and sat down really slow at my desk in disbelief. Columbine: I was a freshman in high school and I was riding the bus home and the guy who was sitting in the seat behind me was listening to the radio on his headphones and he heard the news of it and told me what happened. I went home that day and watched the footage of it all night until I went to sleep. Columbia: I was at work and a customer came through my line and told me what happened. I proceeded to then tell everybody at work, but I didn't see anything about it on TV until 8 hours later. It's amazing how I can remember exactly what I was doing when these things happened, but I can't remember what I ate for dinner last night. I guess these type of things affect us more profoundly than we thought. I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102
